@4louisMC i think it's mostly two things that play a big role here. 1: you move in a way you are not used to doing, and therefore use your muscles a way you're not used to, after a bit of time you will get used to it and not get sore. 2: as you play more you learn to do the moves with minimal movement and force, some newer players put an unessesearly amunt of force into their moves. i am not saying rumble isn't a physical and tiring game, im still drenched in sweat after a good session, but i haven't had a problem with being sore for quite some time.
Well now you know how i felt when Huffwut had to go. i know the feeling of losing a sparring partner, a rival, and a friend all at once. Best of luck moving forward and hope you two will be playing together again as soon as circumstances allow!

I joke about it being chaotic, but it really does become instinct over time. And rumble is fun at every level. You dont have to be at the top tier to be having fun.
5:00 actually… you can parry it! I’ve done multiple tests with parrying an object you’re using Flick on. And I’ve been able to save myself from taking damage multiple times.
got black belt a month ago, the frustration of dealing with people way above my skill is really putting me off. I get failing is a part of learning but I have hit a wall where I haven't gotten better. Shits tough. Feels like everything I try my opponent has a counter for, and the muscle memory just isn't developing for the moves necessary for higher levels of play.
1:37 Depends on the fighting game. Basically any airdasher let you get a combo (a crapton of guaranteed hits) off of basically any button you choose to hit. Most traditional 2D fighters also give you small combos on lights and bigger combos on some mediums and most heavies (so about half the buttons you choose to hit.) Things are weirder in 3D fighters, but the amount of moves that you get guaranteed follow ups CH or even Normal hit sometimes has gone waaay up in T8.
