What somebody does with their own lives literally does not matter to YOU. It does not change or affect YOUR life.
It absolutely can change and affect my life. It is very possible that a baby could be aborted that one day would have gone on to cure a cancer I'll be diagnosed with later in life. That affects me. Or maybe they would have grown up to be a police officer or paramedic that arrives after I have an accident or heart attack, and they save my life. That affects me. No one is put on this planet or taken off this planet without having an affect on someone else's life.
This hasn’t proven that a fetus is “living” this has proved that sustainability isn’t reached until far after exiting the womb, however this comment section is so argumentatively illiterate that no one’s seemed to notice. A fetus is most definitely alive, as is bacteria, trees and fruit, the question is obviously not is the fetus alive, as I don’t see any moral debates on the sale of unripened bananas, the question is, is the fetus human, the question is, does a fetus have the same value as a full grown human being, and unless you come from a culture which pays reverence to flora and fauna, your answer most likely should be no, as the things we value tend to be memory, intelligence, morality, appreciation for beauty, and contribution to community small and large, a fetus can do none of these things as these things require higher brain function, which a fetus does not have. Of course this doesn’t cover the issue in totality because one could argue that these traits could be found in the future, which is a completely different argument, but this debate is circular, with one point bleeding into the last, and so on but maybe we can at least get to the point and decide exactly what we are arguing about when we say a fetus is or isn’t “alive”

The tour guide brought the kids to a poster of a pregnant woman showing the biological makeup of the pregnancy. Well one of the boys pointed and said, "Is that the baby in her tummy?" The tour guide said, "no its a fetus, it's not a baby yet. It's basically a glob of cells forming into a baby. In this stage of pregnancy the fetus isn't considered living." I'm sitting back like, "bruh...." cause I was taught that all life begins at conception. And the fact these kids are being subliminally set up to go pro-choice lol
I was born at 26 weeks. Two and a half months early. I’m here typing this today. I’m alive, when I came out that early, I was alive then
I was also born at 26 weeks!
My son made it to 27 weeks gestation and passed. I had to give birth to his sleeping body. It's very common these days for women to have failed pregnancies but you won't see them very often because we don't post it every single time it happens. Because I have them permission to do an autopsy, I now know it is because I have blood issues, mainly clotting problems and more specifically APS syndrome which is known to cause miscarriages and stillbirth. Abortions do save lives at times. My blood creates a lot of problems for me and also the fetus if I do become pregnant again. I had a stroke and seizure 6 months after I gave birth to my sleeping son which was a result from the pregnancy. Birth control can fail, moms may have life threatening issues and be surprised by a pregnancy that may put their lives in danger or result in their own death. I wish I could have had my son early at 26 weeks, even the chances of survival are not great.

Cancer isn't human. It doesn't have a unique DNA profile, it doesn't recognize its parent's voices, and most importantly, it's not comparable to a baby because a baby is not a parasite or a disease. Babies are *meant* to safely grow inside the mother. Cancer is not.

It’s a false equivalency. Clearly we as a society value certain life above others. Most people would say they value a horses life over a flies live. So we certainly value a human life over a cancerous tumor’s life.
And last I checked, I never went to prison for murdering flies. But if I killed a horse without reason, I would likely get a massive fine and have to serve some time in jail/prison. If I murdered a human, I’d go away for a long time.

Unassisted pregnancy/birth can have extremely high death rate; both preeclampsia & diabetes (which are very commonly developed during pregnancy) can cause severe organ damage. About 14 thousand women experience uterine prolapse during childbirth, which is deadly if not handled immediately (about 50% of mothers experience uterine prolapse later in life; which while not life-threatening, does severely impact quality of life & basic human functions like going to the toilet). Around 300 thousand women die every year due to childbirth (cancer kills 600 thousand people in the US each year). Pregnancy is anything but simple & harmless.
I won't start a debate on what "life" is as it will be a subjective matter; I am just going to say that a grown human is an independent organism, while an embryo is a parasitic one entirely dependant on the host body.
The issue with pro-life is that the movement polices what other people do (a pregnant person is obligated to give birth), while pro-choice allows an individual to act according to their own beliefs meaning they are not obligated to abort their first baby.
There is also the issue of quality of life. No one gets an abortion for the fun of it, chances are they are unable to take care of a child. Forcing that person to bring another life into this world just to ruin it has no logic behind it... Currently there are so many children in foster care & the system itself is absolutely horrid that you'd think someone who cares about a "life" of a child would direct their efforts there, but it seems the care for one's "life" ends the moment it leaves the womb...

Why is it that people feel the need to force themselves to have a baby if they cannot sustain it? If you're really young or are simply not ready to take care of a baby, chances are that if you force yourself to have the baby, then you will end up bankrupt and / or the baby will end up in foster care and will not grow up favourably

So you are against things like child endangerment laws that dictate that if a child is in your possession you are responsible to use your body and resources to take care of them and keep them alive even if the child is not your own child… that obligation is even greater for the parents. The innocent child has no choice as to who has possession of them .

I don’t think you understand what you’re saying. if a baby is unable to live outside of the womb, you say that taking them out of the womb is drowning them. so keeping a baby alive that can’t live without heavy support, is drowning them. if a baby cannot survive outside of the womb for more than five minutes, it is unviable, and therefore will not have the same life quality as a viable baby.
This isn’t to say that disabled babies deserve to die. In fact, I think if the parents are willing to take on that responsibility, they should do it. If they are not able to mentally and physically and financially take care of a disabled child, they shouldn’t have to take on that burden. and if they know from the get-go that pregnancy will result in a child they can’t take care of properly, they should be allowed to terminate the pregnancy so the child doesn’t have to DROWN.

Here's why the teacher handeld the situation wrong
1. He's a grown ass man and he saw the photo of an explicit TEENAGE girl.
2. He literally showed it the ENTIRE FRICKING class the photo. That literally makes the situation more uncomfortable, and all the kids who didn't even had the photo basically saw it.
3. He assumed that every student had the photo, which can or can't be true. He should've called the police and let THEM control their phones.
4. Just like I said, he wasn't sure if EVERYONE had the photo so he took all the phones and basically threw it in the trash. Just like I said, the police should have came and control their phones and take the phones of the kids who have the picture and basically give it to the parents or something and then they will talk to the principal on what to do. And phones are also expensive, so if he gets sued he'll have to pay a lot of money, he should've played smart not dumb.
5. He was mad at the kids and then did something illegal by threwing their phones and them the man came who was basically doing his normal job and then he starts hitting him. That's sooooo immature of him, the poor man probably already hates his job and has to work to get money, and then this teacher does this? He definitely needs to sue him.
6. After all what he did, he'll get himself even more in trouble than the kids probably, and guess what? Everyone will hate the girl cuz everyone will blame her and she might even get bullied more, and guess what? He didn't help he made the situation worse. He's a dumb teacher who should get fired
