WPL C34 KM 1/16 Scale FJ Crawler On 1.55'' Tires

This is the first test of 3,with these new Injora 1.55 inch tires i got for my FJ.The tires are not glued because they will be mounted on beadlock wheels when my adapters arrive.

You might think they're a little narrow, but if you've watched many FJ rock crawling videos, this thing is pretty scale. It's like a 40" on there. Which is the holy grail of crawling tire size.

Well actually seeing the whole truck painted and with these tires and beadlocks it is not too bad and I think it completes the painted truck(by luck I chose black). The tires thought and the height of those is like I am running portals.

Thank you John. They do add a lot to the truck,yet staying scale. The truck was missing weight down low, but now completed on heavier wheels I think it will perform even better.

Thanks Matt! At that stage of this truck when I was taking this video, I used a 3d printed wheel that Widened the stance. Right now I am using an adapter with the same result to use a 1.55 inch wheel/tires.

How did you manage the suspension flex😭😭😭 weaker springs? Or new shocks in whole?

Hello James and welcome to SCC! Actually by that time the shocks were the stock factory shocks. The wider stance of the rims and bigger tires increased the flex in this case. I hope it helps..

@@jamessterkenburg1191 I have seen people using trx4m oil filled shocks, I still haven't although I am planning in the future. Injora also sells few choices which I consider.. In my experience or at least in the way I am using my trucks, for now most of my wpl builds I have they use factory shocks (sometimes with softer springs wpl provides as a choice to buy). If you gonna try oil filled ones, please consider keeping us updated how it went!

Yes they are 3d printed, somebody designed those for his truck originally, and gave them to me
