      The bells are not in correct motif for Westminster, this is so called Prafations motif, for Westminster it would have to be B° - es' - f' - g', like here

    When people tell me they think bells (mainly the change-ringing bells of Britain) are rung by machines, this must be what made them think that. . .

    • @TheDenix8
      @TheDenix8  Před 6 lety +1

      Its only 3-4 bells usually, 5 or 6 are extremely rare (in contrast to Britain), and practically never to high angles. Maybe you're right, but this type of ringing is only used in 2/3 of Slovenia and part of northern Italy so I don't think it's very widely known. It's much more likely that people see most videos of German or French bells with automatisation and think all bells are automated (as there are a lot of videos and they are large countries with lots of tourism). Before we started uploading videos of Slovenian peals back in 2013 there were only a handful of videos with few tens of views.

      TheDenix8 in countries like germany, austria, and france, they sometimes can have a lot of bells in their tower. Ive noticed with hungary its mostly up to 4. It is probably the same with slovenia and northern italy.

      @@Cecnorthernohio Well, just big basilica like Szent Istvan(St. Stephen the King of Hungary) have 6 bells(5 smaller in left tower and one big in right tower), or Matyas-templom/Assumption church(in one tower are 6 bells). Both churches are in Budapest. How you said, most Hungarian churches haven't more than 4 bells. Probably because construction or they are too expensive or some priests evem doesn't care too much
