I enjoy your G8 content as I also own one. I run 585 hp on 93 and 665 hp on E85 with 2% methanol mixed in. I run a Magnuson 2300 supercharger and 12 lbs of boost. I have a BT supercharger cam and Injector Dynamics 1050 injectors with dual fuel pumps, long tube headers and a Rotofab cold air intake. The transmission and rear are stock. I have cradle bushings and Pedders. I bought my G8 new in 2009 and did the mods in 2019. I need tires like yours, because my Michelin Pilots go up in smoke way too easy. The last great Pontiac is indeed a beast and I plan on keeping it. Enjoy your G8 and thanks for the video!

I’m here for the g8. I have a similar build. I’ve been 10.7 on unported heads and unported blower. Na RCR cam 3.45 diff and stock lower pulley 2.45 upper pulley and a circled converter

Sounds like you’re right on track for 9’s good luck man... I’ll get there It kind of sucks not having a track now if it does open back up it will push me to that mile stone.
They are great cars in my opinion and they have a great aftermarket. A gxp with the ls2 and manual would be ideal but the l76 isn’t a bad choice either and I don’t mind the auto. Good luck man let me know if you get one 🤘😎
@@Adrenalinedrivenmedia Yeah I really wouldn’t mind a Charger widebody but everyone and their mother has one now and bringing a lot of heat doing stuff on the street so kinda looking more at the G8 now lol. Only problem is I want a manual, so GXP only which of course is more rare and expensive 🤣 but we’ll see. Really like 4 door RWD V8’s and always like the G8 since they came out. Hopefully I can obtain one. Looking forward to more G8 vids!
Ya I’m more of a 4 door guy myself… I like taking the whole family out on the weekends and still having the ability to get down. I almost bought a Hellcat Charger but that much money at the time wasn’t doable, I do like those as well though.

That’s nice and perfect for a Lsa build. Blower G8’s are my favorite for sure. I ran 80lb injectors and a DSX aux kit for e85 on my LsA and it was perfect for up to 800whp.
Still running stock driveline with the 3.45 camaro diff and pedders extreme xa coil overs with bmr lca’s tires at 22 psi on the street. Maybe you make more POWA💥 lol
I'm at 635 to the wheels turned down, so same ball park. I'm getting a one piece drive shaft so we shall see, want to tie the frame. Man watching this video makes me miss my car lol its in pieces
I still like the Maggie, my buddy made close to 800 wheel and over 950tq on his until he sent it too hard. I’ve thought about pro charger too but the LSA is pretty efficient.
@@Adrenalinedrivenmedia is your friend Joel Winget? Also, how do you like the BMR lca's? I have pedders coilovers on the stock control arms and I get a lot of wheel hop, so I'm looking into the BMR.
I used to get wheel hop until I found the sweet spot with the adjustment. You could also add the bmr trailing arms I heard those rid of the wheel hop as well I don’t have those yet.
Soon man soon. I’m right there with you about the E 85... I wish it was on the pump. I hate keeping barrels of it in my shop. In the maintenance is kinda of rough, always cleaning injectors and such...really considering going back to pump gas for now until we have a track.

Hi mate, I have recently installed this converter in the same car. Under wide open throttle from 2nd to 3rd gear I get a big pop out the exhaust. The stock 6l80 never did it. Just wondering if you experienced the same thing?

Here for the G8. Many people who run with boost opt for the 3.27 gears. I see that with sticky tires the 3.45 is useable. If you were running a street/summer tire would you still choose 3.45 gears?
Thanks man to be honest I really helped out a buddy ha ha. He makes more power than me And needed my 3.27 so I took a 3.45 instead. If I can’t make it work I’ll go back to the 3.27. I’m going for more boost this year so hopefully they work.

My g8 gt just got a brand new block from dealer and gots a 300,000 mile warranty and not gonna do anything to it till I get the replacement block and looking for ideas

Yes sir et street r, I maybe have 200 miles on them. I might get a good summer out of them depending on how many digs I make. I’ll try to keep track they are really soft
A Camaro diff is a cheap upgrade for a g8 I am running 3.27 and its great for what I am doing I do regret it every time I am doing high speed on the highway for long periods of time

Ya I broke my rear end on that run lol I never really got a good pass on the LSA setup. I kinda wish I pushed it more knowing what I know now. IAT’s we’re pulling 5 degrees at the end of the track. I have 2 dyno sheets over 620whp 2 separate dynos.
I have a btr stage 3 boost cam.. if you plan on doing boost go with BTR or RCR Rick Crawford racing. Just have to decide what your end goal is boost vs N/a. Definitely need to do the dod delete, trunion upgrade ect. I’d also do head studs while your in there if you plan on boost.

Nice g8, I have an 08 IOM g8 with fully forged 6.0, btr cam, Maggie 1900, all bolt ons, etc. I've owned the car since 2013.

Crazy I seen their G8 kit goes for almost as much as the hsv kits that I want for my car LOL
I had the same abs problem. And did sensors and rear wheel bearing. Ended up being the rear abs harness. Took 20mins to swap

This one was a sbe, head studs and cnc ported 823 heads with BTR stage 3 boost cam, trunion upgrade, BTR 660 springs retainers stainless valves
I have a similar build lsa g8. Stock pulleys it went 11.3 last year. This year i plan on turning up the boost and seeing what it does

No i ended going forged 6.0 using a LS2 i found for cheap. I want to use the L76 for another project so i didn’t want to hurt it.

Mickey Thompson 28 11.50 17 et street R bias ply. They work good but don’t last long haha.

A Camaro diff is a cheap upgrade for a g8 I am running 3.27 and its great for what I am doing I do regret it every time I am doing high speed on the highway for long periods of time

@@Adrenalinedrivenmedia I am so glad I didnt do 3.45 first gear is so low its a waist but I cruise at 90-100 on the highway and the engine is spinning to fast for long runs

Probably about 9k so far but that’s with everything suspension, brakes, wheels&tires, blower, fuel system, head work, cam, converter ect.

What was done to make 630whp ? My. Lsa 2.55 pulley with meth I made 578
Sps ported heads, btr stage 3 pds cam made 630 whp on pump at Turbo Technology dyno in Tacoma WA. Trapped 124mph at 4260 lbs with me in the car.

Ya I broke my rear end on that run lol I never really got a good pass on the LSA setup. I kinda wish I pushed it more knowing what I know now. IAT’s we’re pulling 5 degrees at the end of the track. I have 2 dyno sheets over 620whp 2 separate dynos.
Sounds like yours should make some power…. Take it to the track that’s the only real way to know.

I have a btr stage 3 boost cam.. if you plan on doing boost go with BTR or RCR Rick Crawford racing. Just have to decide what your end goal is boost vs N/a. Definitely need to do the dod delete, trunion upgrade ect. I’d also do head studs while your in there if you plan on boost.
Cars awesome only complain is the rear wheels. Very ugly wheels for such an awesome car
