This was the most detailed academic report on music I have ever listened to, I made dua that it is used as a good basis for not only the majority but the scholars as well. Too many times people quote scholars who lived 500 years after the prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) over the interpretation of the sahaba and the tabiyeen. May Allah guide us. Jazak'Allah Khair

Subhaan Allah The number of times I have pointed out that music is not permitted and I my voice has been drowned out by the other person talking over me and defending their point of view. Not just music but other matters too.
Occasionally I have been called an extremist or that I have been listening to extremist preachers. May Allah ‎ﷻ guide us all Ameen.

Jazak Allahu khair. What is truly eye opening to me is the realization that we should not misuse any of the many gifts Allah (swt) has given us in the form of our bodies. If we truly appreciate the gift of hearing, we should strive to please (with all of our heart and soul) the One Who blessed us with it.

Assalamu alaykom brothers and sister. I just want to say that those who are addicted to music, know that it is the least serious addiction, it's not hard to get rid of it as other addictions. Just remember hellfire and how short is life. Also, if you recite and listen a lot of Quran you will see the effects of how the desire to listen to music is removed completely from the heart and if it doesn't happen it means you were not paying attention to the Quran ,you have to have sincerity. May Allah make it easy.

One day, I decided to give up listening to music to be closer to Allah. And Alhamdullilah, the guidance comes through in abundance.
Sometimes we wonder how could we get guidance from something so pure and sacred if we’re constantly surrounding our lives in haram. Slowly purge them away, it’s for the best! (I’m trying my best with social media too slowly)
Knowing your nafs and the origins of music brings so much awareness ❤

Wa 'alaykum as-salaam.. Brother, basic thing you must keep in mind is that - Islam is Perfect, Muslims are NOT., ie., people have their own shortcomings, errors, problems, mistakes, etc..
We must follow what Allah swt revealed and what the Prophet صلى) (الله عليه وسلم said. That is our foundation..
and NOT what people say or do, think that "this is Islam, bcoz of the actions of the people"...
      Hope you understand, bi'idhnillah..
