Yeah Will Smith at the time seemed like too goofy of an actor to play in that kind of movie, Keeanu Reeves was more destined for that role. Plus his face was basically everywhere so I'm glad it didn't end up a film buried in the legacies of all the other fliks he starred in.

Haven't heard this song for two decades. Seriously, this is the first time I listen to this again after all those devastating 23 years. I know time won't turn back, I won't be a teenager again, but at least let me remember that I was once a happy person.

The hate..I remember started from Will playing an originally White character. The hate piled up even more as the remake took a down to earth western and made it a ridiculous fantasy. All that being said, I liked the movie and I like this song.
It was good, but everyone expected it too be good like Independence Day or MIB, films he had done the previous 3 years
Because it's just corny. It also came out at the same time as the Matrix so it didn't stand a chance.
The video was better than the movie
