There is something called as QUALITY over QUANTITY..... till year 2000 there were total 13 Dental Colleges in Maharashtra roughly 1500 BDS and 300 MDS were passing out every year... in 2021 this figure stood at 110 Dental colleges pumping out 13500 dentist and 4000 MDS every year... Now this is only in Maharashtra..... imagine what is the scenario in India then... Substandard Inferior level college's mushroomed everywhr with the help of politicians blessing collecting donations.
Same with Engineering...a Mistry earns more than BE.
In total there are 27000 seats in India for bds

In every sector there is struggle....Those who can qualify for govt exams they will get a payscale of group b employee in some states group a employee in some states...I myself from Odisha m getting a payscale of 56100+DA+HRA..all my friends are practicing privately earning 10000 per day..Its the quality of education and quality of dentist that matters...Nothing to generalise as such like in India all dentist are getting the pay scale u r mentioning.

Government should stop admission for bds and mds degree..there is no need of dentists 😢😢
So now what can be done....? How to make government realise..this thing and make this topic to their matter of concern..
we have similar scenario here in ksa over 4k unemployed dentist and if they are lucky to get job salary will be 900$, while medical doctor earn about 5k$

@@DrTeethAcademy maybe try to look in UAE ? I see a lot of Indian dentists work there but i don't if it easy to get job there
900$ is around 3k SAR which is still enough for one person to survive in KSA, in India we need at least 30k INR (375$) to survive but we get 4-5k (50-60$)
First of all students should stop making this a matrimonial degree. What the F is this study BDS, get a Dr. Tag and marry a MD/MS and in the meanwhile acquire zero skills.

True ajay😂 look at the quality of work delivered by those who get paid 4k. They are not even able to converse with the patient properly. If they get paid what they are getting believe me they are being overcompensated.
