It’s good, but let’s be real here… early season BD would beat this. Early season any world class finalist corps would almost certainly beat this. The cleanliness and performance quality just isn’t up to par with the top DCI corps, especially by August.
@@betterthanthou84 They just want the style of shows the Japanese corps are performing, obviously the talent pool and finances mean Blue Devils are going to be cleaner

Millennials and Gen Z will never understand that this very specific type of sound was always the target for drum corps ensembles. Those instruments were designed for a very specific purpose and you can’t just find the closest band equivalent and hope it works. Bb/F comes close and is more cost effective, and is fine in its own right, but is at the end of the day a knockoff of something unique. Long live Drum Corps Japan!
Great thing about Japan corps unlike American corps is that they still use drill. Thank you japan
They use g bugles if that helps as well and I see no electronics
@@leoarevalo6786 DCJ has allowed for multi-key for a few years. Another group that competes in this division, a high school, is on Bb/F
They can bring a top 12 corps in 2023 if they want. They have the membership possibility.

Yes, exactly! DCI please bring back good drill!...and good music also.
Man I wish a Japanese corps would come clean up at dci finals with a show like this so we would move away from the annoying dancing and lack of drill
