  • Having conquered the moon, NASA looks to the other planets of the solar system in this award-winning film.
    This film is an introduction to planetary exploration and scientific satellite research planned for the 1970s. The film briefly describes plans for Mariner flybys of Mars, Pioneer studies of Jupiter, landings of Viking spacecraft on Mars, a Grand Tour of the Outer Planets, and solar and other astronomy research.
