CT5-V Blackwing Kooks Headers Installation and Bolt-ons by Tapout Tuning

We’ve had this beautiful M6 CT5-V Blackwing at our shop over this past winter to install various bolt-ons as well as a set of Kooks Competition Only Headers to see what kind of power we could get out of it. Keep in mind that the beautiful exhaust sounds you're hearing is with the Kooks Headers System and STOCK MUFFLER.
Before any modifications were installed, it put down an average baseline of 620 whp. We then installed the following items:
- Kong ported supercharger
- Kong throttle body
- Griptec pulley system with 2.18” pulley
- Gates FleetRunner supercharger belt
- Green high performance air filter
- Colder Brisk spark plugs
- Kooks competition only header system
After putting the car back on the Dyno it made 702 whp! That’s a huge gain with no tuning. Not on,y that, but the car is incredibly healthy and responds extremely well to all of the parts. This thing is an animal on the streets and we can’t thing of a better combination of performance and sound!
