@@Godofallmadness we know what epic hero means, they explained it during the army building reveal, basically means he's a named character and you are restricted to only 1 copy of him in an army, no affect on gameplay. So its 100% confirmed gone for him, only question left is who else lost it.

Let's not forget Angron was defeated by Perturabo in a turkey shoot, lost to humans and got butcher nail weave installed in scalp only to lose to Sanguinius because he snatched Angy's said weave, only to go on to lose to old ass Johnson because Angron is a casual and forgot how to parry.
Khorne would probably be angry that Angron killed the Silent King, because.... Necrons don't bleed.... So.... Maybe Angron Dying there would have been the best outcome for Khorne!

Guard needed a Command Squad with bodyguard, Marbo, a squad of Melta/Plasma Kasrkin with Trophy Hunters and some infantry squads. If they got first turn, with orders, they'd put some serious hurt on Big Red.
I am not sure how the points would pan out as I don't know Angrons cost, but I think the Einhyr champ and a squad of Hearthguard could put up a helluva fight
