    Good stuff! Have one of these kits ready to go for the P07 I recently picked up. Looking forward to taking it all apart. I'll probably spend a little bit more time with the polishing. I know it'll be time consuming, but I enjoy products. I'll most likely have some content up on my channel as well.

      Cool, just take your time. It took me about 2 hours. I could've polished more but it looked good enough. Good luck.

    I made the MCarbo spring swap on my P09 which is essentially the longer version of the P07, and it made a heck of a difference. One thing I noticed is I had two primer light strikes using Blazer brass out of 200 rounds. I went ahead and swapped back in the old hammer spring and have not experienced any more light strikes. Overall, I really like the new feel the spring kit and polishing gave the gun. I can feel and anticipate exactly when it will fire now, and the mushiness is gone. It is super smooth. The breakdown and install can be intimidating to some. I'm a certified aircraft mechanic so it was very easy for me. Like he said in the video, removal and installation of the decocker assembly can be a pain but if you are patient with it, and watch the MCARBO video a couple of times, it won't be that bad. Just my two cents.

      I've shot a po9 and it's just the bigger brother of the po7. I did a follow up video on the MCARBO. I do like it. Single action is fastly better. Have not had any malfunctions putting ball 115 grain and also blazzer 124gr.

      @@FireBoxCampaign Could have been just my set up. I was using 115 grain. I think I will put the hammer spring back in and test again. Other than that, I really like the change the MCARBO spring kit makes overall. I use their products on several of my guns. Great videos by the way!

    With mine after the kit I noticed the DA pull was smoother I also put a rushby industries flat faced trigger which also helped with finger placement getting more leverage at the bottom of the trigger and getting a consistent pull

    • @RagingBee1
      @RagingBee1 Před 9 měsíci

      How was the trigger? I saw on the website that you are supposed to replace the the springs before doing the trigger. I’m guessing using the Mcarbo kit would be the same thing?

      I did the same flat trigger and MCarbo kit. It did lighten the pull, but still has a ton of mush. I'm thinking about trying a cz shadow trigger shoe and she if it will work and make a difference. At this point I'd rather have a shorter pull.

    Even after polishing and lubricating everything there will still be a wear in period as the surfaces mate together. The more you shoot it or just dry fire it it should smooth out. Good job on jumping into a project like that if you've never done something like that before it can be a bit unnerving

    I love the stock trigger in my P-07. Changing out the de-cocker for the safety lever was a pain. If you use a tiny screwdriver to lift the safety bar, you will have a better chance of getting it right the first time.

    If you polish up the hammer strut, the sides of the disconnector bearing and the individual pins, you will have a way better single action and a signifigantly reduced DA. I just did mine about 3 weeks ago. The secret to the decocker is to get everything lined up, cock the hammer and it will snap in.

    @r.w.6251 Před 8 měsíci +1

    I honestly don’t care if the DA is a little heavy as long as it’s smooth. If you appendix carry in the half cocked hammer position with one in the chamber, a heavier DA pull makes it that much more safe.

      I went MCARBO before a full CGW kit. It improved the trigger greatly for like $35 + 20 min polishing. The only negative was my return spring seemed underweight and I had a few trigger resets at the range that were so weak I had to assist it forward.
      For $200 more for the CGW kit I have to say it’s leaps and bounds above the MCARBO spring kit (as it should be at this price point). MCARBO is a good improvement for the money but if you want the best experience possible folks need to shell out the money for CGW
