I have gotten like 4 in the last couple of days and before, I never experienced one. So gajiggles, call an exorcist.
ive had 6 in a row recently, 250ping 0% packet loss, i just rage quit now and go play something else when it happens, same as when i get a full BR uptier, quit and play a different nations lineup. when cyberpunk 2077 comes out im no longer a warthunder player
That was one of those server/player lags.. the chap had already moved back but on Phly's screen he was slightly behind on this. Not hard to imagine. All part and parcel of the ghost shell issue of course, but makes a bit of sense.
today: shot a standing still tank, in an open field with no obstructions. "thump" I lose my ammo, but no hit registers, and the other team gets to see my barrel smoke and shoot me.

@@user-nd9jp2lj2r agreed, but I think they are all undertiered. Take the russian ASU-85, for instance - similar penetration, MUCH worse reload and atrocious mobility. It sits at 6.7. This means that getting massive reload and mobility buffs only warrants a 0.4 BR difference? Makes no sense...

I am a player with only German vehicles... but I've vowed never to research any tanks beyond 6.7.

After years of playing War Thunder, the best parts of the game are the mini interactions during the game. With my personal favorite allying with an enemy vehicle.
As a ho ri production owner. i can say : this tank is AWSOME. It´s the japanese Ferdiand but better. The best thing i love is the gun depression :D

As a Ho-Ri Prototype Owner, I laugh at 1.0 lower BR with just a slightly shittier gun!
It is so ridiculous when you even get down BR in it and just sit on a hill with easily 40+ bounces on that incredibly angled front

I need to play war thunder again just tto check out the Fulda map, I live in Fulda and was a soldier at the end of the cold war up at Point Alpha, which it looks like Gaigen did a good job of recreating it. Always interesting to see maps baased off real places, especxially when its your backyard!

FrenZ it’s not really forcing anything. You can play lame and just spam chainsaw to use one or two guns through the entire game. You need to learn proper gun combos on higher difficulties though. Low ammo promotes skillful play.

Ho-ri production.... But it's a prototype that never went into production just like the premium "prototype" version...makes total sense.
If it even barely existed in real life in war thunder it was mass produced and used extensively
The prototype is literally a Ho-Ri II iirc or a late III that was a proposition at the time of the war, the production version is the one prototype that at the time was accepted into trials and later was scheduled for production; that’s why it’s called production.
Yes it wasn’t made in production amounts of tanks but that’s because the literal factories that were supposed to build are thought to have been bombed. Only 1 prototype was ever built and I believe it was a mix of the III version and the Production version proposal, that being with the armor of the Production but the older engine of the Prototype.
What we see in game is a literal prototype version and then the one that was envisioned for production.
The original “Production” design was the one with the most armor and engine and even then it was still capable of the mobility that was explained or documented to have which was 40 kmh.
Get a heli, some bad boy bombs, fly really fast and capture a zone (called rush and grab), go really, really high and drop bombs on advancing enemy tanks until team arrives. Great plan for the next video!

I was actually fighting one of these in a custom battle last night using my MBT-70 and that APFSDS round. Couldn't get through the front part with the engine no matter how close or far I was. Pretty dang op for what it is.

I love how this is still in the game when it never existed. The only one that actually existed was the prototype one, and even that was mostly a mockup. Yet of course they removed the Panther II and Tiger II 105 as they never existed but not the Ho Ri production.
There are quiiite a few vehicles in the game that never saw actual production, and they pick or choose what to remove on those grounds and we have no say in it lol

The number one thing I always hear when lamenting my experience in any German vehicle at any B.R. is that lazy saying:
'git gud'.
Or some variation of it.
It takes about as much effort to assign someone that label as it does to suicide bomb.
Anyways, you have no idea how frustrating it is to be doing everything perfectly, or at least what seems like perfectly, and then getting 'lolpenned' from a ridiculous range at a stupid angle.
And the most aggrieving thing about it all?
The realization that even if you had already 'guttin gud' and noticed the tank a second or two before it fired, there would still be no way in hell for you to do anything about it.
And that, my friend, is the Panther experience in a nutshell.
@@abercrombieblovs2042 idk. As a newish (4.7 max) Britain player it feels quite opposite. German panthers/tigers(even hetzer sometimes jeez) just chill in the middle of the field, tanking million 190ap shells with volumetric armour. Even if you finally somehow penetrate something its 1-2 crew loss while panther/tiger easily kill avenger/firefly in one shot . 40 german and 40 USSR players in queue while for other nations its amount ~4-8 also speaks a lot.
@@RMMinc Since you're feeling pretty frustrated with the game, I'll not say 'git gud' and instead give you a step-by-step guide on how to fight German tanks.
So, let's start with the turretless TD's.
The Hetzer? Shoot out it's transmission through its big lower plate. Immobilized. Then flank it. Boom. Done.
JgPz IV?
Same thing. Or just go through its paper-thin side armor.
Or even the heavily sloped 50mm plate between the lower plate and the upper plate.
Now, the turreted tanks.
1.) The Tiger 1 series.
Frankly, the only way you'll ever NOT kill them right through the front plate is if they're angled perfectly. Try to hit the commander's cupola with APHE, and hopefully splash shrapnel down into the gunner, giving you the opportunity to flank him without risk of recourse. Or, if you want, take out the barrel. Or the drivetrain. Or the engine.
Seriously, it's rife with possibilities.
Panthers are about as easy - if you see any part of their gun mantlet, shoot the middle part. With only 100mm of armor it'll go right through at almost any range and almost always kill the whole turret crew.
Or shoot the turret front not covered by the mantlet. It's only 50mm there too. This will only work with the Panther (D), though - so just always shoot the mantlet.
Their side armor is also only 50mm, so be sure to shoot the front return wheel if they're angling and watch your shell kill all the crew in the fighting compartment.
Tiger II's?
If you're facing the Tiger (P) model, use the same tactic as with the Panther.
If you're presented with a side shot, shoot the rear part of the turret. You'll always get an ammorack.
If you're facing the Tiger II (H), then...
Your only option is to flank it. Period.

Also, try not using a medium tank as a heavy tank - camp somewhere for a while and get some side shots.
about the ppuma it looked like an obvious ghost shell but think about what if you overpenned without a hull break and non of the slitters of the income damaging anything i guees if that would happen you at least would got target hit or the X-ray vision on the top right

Once a ASU-57 came up behind me when I was in a Jagdpanther, but I didn't shoot him and he didn't shoot me and we were just sniping together from one rock. My teammates told me that there was a tank besides me and marked him on the map, but I just said I know and did nothing. He also killed only 1 player so no real loss.
