    Experiment over? How about this, let’s just let the kid grow and develop? I think the generational tag is just an unfair assessment for any young QB. Tlaw has completed 3 seasons and has won two in a row, after the disaster of urban. Won with a poverty franchise BTW. Are his stats elite? No. Does he need to fix a few things, yes. But the potential is still there. And as long as he continues to grow, I don’t see how he can’t turn into that generational talent. Far too often we expect these guys to turn into Brady or Mahomes by year 3. But look at someone like Stafford….It takes time. Experiment over?! I think it just started.

    Theres a reason they fell off a cliff once he got hurt. He couldnt cover just how putrid the Oline was (quickest average colapsing pocket in the NFL and 29th ranked run block win rate). For reference it took him getting hit 18 times to beat the Bills. Doesnt help his team lost the most points on drops in something like the last 7 years(Ridley dropped 3 TDs on his own). Kirk has been solid, calling Ridley elite after he took an entire season off due to suspension is a stretch. Call it "making excuses" if you want, but any QB would struggle if drafted into that dumpster fire. Here’s my take:
    TLaw is an upper end game manager. When the team plays well, he will too. When he’s asked to carry more than his weight to win games, he can’t. He will never be a real super star but if the roster can be built to win a Super Bowl, I believe he will deliver.
    I hate the idea of a game manager getting paid 50 million a year, but it’s inevitable. We the fans have to hope this organization can build a contender around him. Because if they don’t, like you said, this team will be set back really hard for years in salary cap hell.

    Can't help but feel like you're being a little dishonest about the "weapons" surrounding Trevor throughout the start of his career. The whole sports world was clowning the Jags when they brought in Christian Kirk and Evan Engram to be primary targets for TLaw. Both of those guys have career-defining seasons with TLaw at QB and suddenly revisionist history says they were great weapons the whole time. Have you considered that it might in fact be Trevor's QB play that's elevating these guys, not the other way around?
    Further the Jags have had one of the very worst run games in the league for the last two seasons, even with Travis Etienne.
    And one final thing. My brother in Christ, Calvin Ridley signed with the Titans because they offered him more money lol. It's not rocket science

  • @jackson904productions9
    @jackson904productions9 Před 29 dny +2

    I’ve seen enough from the comments, you’re a clickbaiter. Trevor Lawrence dealt with 3-4 different injuries after going 8-3. Christian Kirk was HIS MAIN TARGET BEFORE HE HAD A SEASON ENDING INJURY VS THE BENGALS. Zay Jones was also struggling to find a way to stay healthy. The only two threats he had was Engram, and Ridley. Ridley struggled throughout the season, especially on concentration catches, sometimes in would watch Trevor throw a perfectly thrown pass into the endzone, and Ridley would struggle to either get two feet down, or maintain possession of the football. So realistically, Trevors best receiving threat was Evan Engram, which isn’t a good thing for that Jags offense. Just the fact that you made a 20 minute video just yapping about his poor performance with a “good supporting cast” WHICH IS BS. PFF ranked Trevors supporting cast at 30th in the league. You spreading false narratives saying “Trevor had help, and has failed to capitalize off of it” is awful. The fact that you also considered Mac over Trevor is ridiculous 😭

    @dragonmagick2176 Před 2 dny

    You really have to look at QB stats to see how much the media is dumping on Trevor.
    Most of the fumbles were because Ridley was put in the wrong position, which made it difficult for him to get separation, which caused Trevor to hold the ball longer than he should with an injured O line.
    It goes back to Pederson and Taylor putting Ridley in a position he wasn't physical enough to play.

    I think the Bengals game was a great microcosm of the jags season. Despite the defense letting a backup QB look like a hall of famer we were in a shootout I had little doubt Lawrence would win, then his lineman gets beat so bad he injured him and the season never turned around after that. He still has turnover issues and I don't think he ever had chemistry with Ridley but the guy we had the first half of the year was definitely a top 10 QB, arguably top 5. Still not a guarantee he will get back to that but this is really the year that you will know one way or another which way his career will be heading.

Almost the hole team was hurt the last 5 games no one talks about all of that happened at the same time before that we made it to the best team in the AFC

    jags also have a safety net though, they already picked up his 5th year option so unless im misunderstanding they have 2 years of control BEFORE the extension kicks off, so if he does end up not proving it a trade could be possible. Gotta do more homework if you’re going to scout a player and assume he’s bad instead of actually doing the research and not gong base on highlights and stats. I think sometimes these players can give you a fake job. Don't sign him again unless you're absolutely sure I would wait until after the season and then and only then. Then you use the 50 year option and if he's not much much better than I would sign them to the one year contract I can't think of the name of it, the one-year contract for you paid the top five salary averages. You got to be really sure cuz he's probably going to ask for a 50 million or 55 million. I'm from Detroit and we just paid our quarterback 53 million a year that's a crazy amount of money, you'll screw your whole team up for many years if you don't do this right.

    Ladies and gentlemen,
    Today, I stand before you to extol the virtues of Trevor Lawrence, not merely as a quarterback, but as a paragon of skill, leadership, and promise in the realm of American football.
    Firstly, let us acknowledge Lawrence's unparalleled talent on the field. With his towering stature, effortless throwing motion, and pinpoint accuracy, he embodies the very essence of a quarterback destined for greatness. From his days at Clemson, where he led the Tigers to a national championship, to his arrival in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence has consistently demonstrated his ability to command the game with poise and precision.
    But greatness in football transcends mere physical prowess. It requires a mind capable of reading defenses, making split-second decisions, and rallying a team in moments of adversity. Trevor Lawrence excels in these aspects as well. His football IQ is remarkable, allowing him to dissect opposing defenses and exploit their weaknesses with ease. Whether it's audibling at the line of scrimmage or executing a flawless play-action pass, Lawrence's understanding of the game sets him apart as a true tactician on the field.
    Furthermore, Trevor Lawrence possesses a rare quality that defines the greatest quarterbacks in history: leadership. Despite his youth, he exudes a maturity and charisma that inspire confidence in his teammates and coaches alike. He leads not only by example but also with his words, motivating those around him to strive for excellence and to never settle for anything less than their best. His presence in the locker room and on the sidelines serves as a beacon of hope and determination for the Jacksonville Jaguars and their fans.
    Beyond his skills and leadership, Trevor Lawrence represents the future of the NFL. As the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, he carries the weight of expectations with grace and humility. His dedication to improving his craft, both physically and mentally, ensures that he will continue to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of professional football.
    In conclusion, Trevor Lawrence is not just a good quarterback; he is a transformative figure who has the potential to leave an indelible mark on the sport. With his talent, intelligence, and leadership, he embodies the qualities of a champion and a role model for aspiring athletes everywhere. As we witness his journey unfold, let us celebrate Trevor Lawrence not only for what he has achieved but also for the limitless possibilities that lie ahead.
    Thank you.

    It's time to throw away the narrative that Trevor Lawrence is this generational talent that just has had bad situations and bad luck and all that but there's all these other levels in him he can get to. At this point until he reaches them they should be assumed to not exist. To date, Trevor Lawrence is Daniel Jones they are virtually identical players. Both big athletic guys with tons of raw talent that haven't totally reached that next level for whatever reason. Both have a playoff win but nearly identical overall records otherwise. People give TLaw a pass for the whole Urban Meyer fiasco but Daniel Jones had his own shitshow at head coach in Joe Judge so that is basically a wash. Trevor had Calvin Ridley last year and although he is barely fringe #1 type WR he is heads and tails above anything DJ has had to date. Take 2022 for example when Daniel Jones best WR by the end of the year began the season on a different team's practice squad, 2nd best WR started on the Giants practice squad and3rd best WR is now on the Chiefs practice squad... yet somehow that team got to the playoffs and won a game. That's elevating the players around you I don't care what anyone says. I'm not insanely saying DJ is great but he is everything TLaw has been and there is no objective measure anyone could use to deny it.

    Ok. Bro listen me on this great video . Trevor hasn’t been really a good quarterback, yea he had a good season in 2022. But after this season it was terrible. But bro you didn’t told people about his injury. Like Trevor had an ankle injury in week 13 and then he had a shoulder injury and a head injury too. So Trevor literally humping to the finish line. Also Christian Kirk was injured, and Trevor really didn’t have like a wr1. And yes you would say that Ridley is but Trevor pass way more to Kirk than Ridley this season. Christian Kirk is also one of the the best slot wide receivers in the league. And now you get to Gabe Davis, that signing was a little bit weird. Gabe Davis is a good wr2 but he’s not consistent like ask buffalo fan that and you’ll see. And lastly you didn’t tell people about the draft, where the jaguars got Brian Thomas jr. bro look up his stats in college it’s insane!! And Trevor really good on deep balls and Brian can catch those easily. Like literally Brian Thomas jr comp player was tee Higgins, tee Higgins played with Trevor. Jaguars also have a really good defense, like the other Josh Allen, arik armstead, Travon walker, and Tyson Campbell. But good video, and please do more jaguars content. That would be nice. Also do like a Texans vs jags video that would be cool
