Hallelujah this guy still has all his fingers! Seriously though watching you use that Circular saw... I'm not going to give you too hard a time about your deck, but you need to screw your deck boards down, those boards are going to be popping up all over the place sooner than later. Nails give you shear strength, they don't provide pulling strength. Also you look like you got 24" joist spacing maybe(not sure)? that's only going to contribute to those 5/4" boards warping and causing the board to pull up. When the joist wood starts to dry those nails will hold nothing at all. If you like the next person you build a deck for, pls screw the deck boards down at least. Different climates will be a factor in how long it will take, but you be back screwing those boards back down as soon as next year. Really on a deck the only thing you should be using nails for is your joist hangers, or structure related. Good luck!
Screwed over 1k screws in deck Boards... and caps... 2,1,2in ring shank on the Spindles! screws would Crack the Spindles to S#%@... Screwed videos just scroll up... Salute 💯
@@robdoeswork1368 Hmm ok I could see a bunch of what I thought looked like nails around the perimeter of you deck. If you use a deck screw, you shouldn't be splitting the spindles.
I understand your customer wanting the work done at a faster pace. But you built a beautiful deck for her at a very low price..SO ..she should cut 'ol Rob a little slack and get off his back !😆
