- Magnificent Concert by Nazareth at the River Rock Theatre
*Band Members:*
- *Pete Agnew* (bass, backing and occasional lead vocals, occasional guitar and piano) - He is the last remaining original member of the band.
- *Jimmy Murrison* (guitar, backing vocals, occasional piano and keyboards) - He has been with the band since 1994.
- *Lee Agnew* (drums, percussion, backing vocals, occasional keyboards) - He joined the band in 1999, taking over after the death of original drummer Darrell Sweet.
- *Carl Sentance* (lead vocals) - He joined in 2015 and has been the frontman since.
The video was shot with an iPhone 14 Max Pro, handheld and without a tripod. Due to interruptions caused by people passing by, not all songs were recorded in full and not all songs from the concert were uploaded.

Yes, but a guitarist can be replaced, but a frontman like Dan can never be replaced. Dan's voice and charisma cannot be replaced.

@@TaylorDezzy So that means when Manny Charlton left the band in 1990, then that was the end of Nazareth. After Manny was gone, they became nothing more than a Nazareth tribute band. So there.
If any original member leaves a band, then it's not the real band anymore. It's just a pretend band.
This is a Waste of a Tour, I am Glad to have Seen the REAL BAND LIVE in the 70s.
This group of guys should just move on.

Jimmy has been on guitar for 30 years, Lee has been on drums for 25 years and Pete has been there since 1968?!! 56 years?!! They are Still Nazareth and they are fantastic live! FACT!
Am I ever glad I stumbled on this! Nazareth did not get the creds they were due! Absolutely loved, loved, loved this group! I know 3 of the originals are missing but the music still remains! Great job guys!!!!!

Wow, Pete's still doing it!? Worked with the band for a month in about '82 (in the studio)....wild to see that there's a version of the band still touring
@@willswitchcraft I think Pete's son took over drums after an unexpected heart attack felled Daryl at middle age starting a tour many year ago now

Wow, I grew up listening to Nazareth and got a few of their albums. Surely miss Dan (RIP) but the now lead singer is excellent. Would be great to see the back.
Very good, long live NAZ ! The Vocalist is OK, the Guitarist is good as well. As for me -- one little thing is: to add a good piano man to make the sound more solid (at least for live performance time -- IMHO). This is NAZARETH !
@@leonidkurbeko8863 so many bands don't bring a keyboardist to save $ live ! Going where s the keys like the album ( Shania Twain seemed to just use synth tapes and likely some layered vocals in the mix )

Great nostalgia and I respect the fact that you are still out there doing what you love to do and I really enjoyed it. BUT!, I have to agree with some of the other comments about a tribute band and I guess in a way you are really paying tribute to what once was and I commend you for that. I did see the original back in the day and this brought back a lot of memories and that’s what really counts. On a side note, if Ian Gillan decided to retire your vocalists would make a good fit in Purple.

Not even close. This is NOT Nazareth period. The band sounds horrible and the lead guitar needs to learn how to play the tunes if the desire to try to re-create Nazareth music. Yeh hang it up fellows ,having this on YT does not help. So sad.

@@blackwoodrichmore4531 Ian Gillan still fronting although not a original but the most noted DP vocalist still draws. Jon Lord and Ritchie were the sound of DP. Of course playing their DP songs still resonate. No thanks,all good things come to an end. Even great Rock bands

A rhythm guitar would go a long way to filling the sound while leads are being played. This is good but could be better with a strong rhythm guitarist.

There's More!! & it's true that - Ole Rosssillly Drum Covers - Did 1 or 2 Nazareth Drum Covers & that's to honor NAZARETH & of course Dan McCafferty as well & in 1996 for over a decade When started my 1st day As 1 of 150 Local Concert Working Crew + I was also 1 of only 8 Local Concert Show Call Stage Hand Working Crew + as the Local Concert Working Drum Tech I not fortunate enough! To have worked a Nazareth concert Always wanted to But not even after 250 + major concerts! For bands like AC/DC Alice Cooper Aerosmith Billy Idol Cheap Trick Def Leppard Sir Elton John Sir Rod Stewart who I made rock & roll history with + KISS & Gene Simmons who I also made rock & roll history with + kISStory as well So how lucky was I I also worked for bands Headpins w Darby Mills ZZ Top Van Halen w Sammy Motley Crue Poison Supertramp Foo Fighters + many many many more But never Nazareth & w that I still made at least 1 if not a couple of Nazareth's top 10 hits drum covers To honor Nazareth So thank you so very much Nazareth! For all the o so awesome! A top 10 hits That we all get to crank!
