🧶 Love the beautiful art stitching and the peaceful music 🎶 and the bonus part… the instructions to follow ❤ Definitely one of the best tutorials I have followed 🙏🏼 thank you 💜
Absolutely beautiful work. Thanks for sharing and the instructions you put on the screen. I love it that you don’t waist time by talking too. Thank you again ❤😊🙏🏼💕
Even though you’re not speaking in the video, you made it very clear, which is not an easy thing to do from what I witnessed in other crochet videos so thank you for the effort that you put into the video!! I’m excited to try this pattern out!!🙏🏻🫶🏼
All I can see in my head is this as a bedspread in an ecru / cream color. Make enough for whichever size you need (I would want a queen size). Then make a thin quilt with two high quality sheets or sheeting fabric. Put a layer of wool or cotton batting between them. Lay your crocheted queen size piece on top and quilt around the squares only. How gorgeous it would be. And it would be an heirloom piece to pass down through the family. I'm thinking this will be a long ongoing project for me that will take a year or more but will be worth every minute spent. I get easily bored and always have several projects going at once to break up the monotony. But yeah, I'm gonna go for it and honestly can't wait to get started. Thank you for this great tutorial. ❤❤
That is a gorgeous idea. I would be concerned about how to wash it, though. I made a crocheted throw some years ago for my daughter, and she loves it. That was without quilting it in any way, and I found it was limited to a size that she could fit in her washing machine.
@@triciarevill1617 I have a super load machine so no problem with that here. I'm actually quite excited to get started on this project. Only problem is, I live 45 minutes from Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Gotta bide my time until I have a reason to go to town.
incredible! I’m in awe from your designs. they remind me of old Spanish/Italian needle lace… I’m just a beginner, trying to learn it, and this was the first thing of this sort that I tried (I made simple things before, without all this ornamentation, just plain crochetting)… in order to learn better, I made an openwork band from these squares for the top of a tunic I’m making from transparent cotton. now I have only to sew the tunic itself and attach the fabric to the band :) if everything works out, it will be beautiful and I’ll try to learn some more… thanks a lot!
quite pretty indeed, although one little thing that annoyed me in this pattern is it's only shown which chain or sc to work into, it'd be very helpful to write it as well so beginners don't have a hard time trying to figure it out - and sometimes even for more experienced people it might take a long second to make sure they're not making a mistake. But otherwise it's great, thank u for sharing it!
Very much agreed. I'm not experienced but definitely not a beginner and I had a hard time with a couple of steps. Especially when it came to connecting them. More instruction would be so much appreciated. I figured it out, but without the experience I have already I don't know if I would have been able to do it with what is given in the video.

(You will form 5 picot in total): 2sc into the loop you just created, ch 4, sl st into the base st (where the ch starts) - repeat for 5 total picot), 2 sc after the 5 picot, sl st back into the original st of the ch 10 that made the loop, 4 sc, (into the ch sp of row 5): 2 sc, 2 ch, 2 sc (Repeat this 3x to the end of the row) At the end of the row, sl st to the 2 ch sp to join Row 7: ch 1, ch 7, sc into the 2nd picot in the first loop/first side, ch 5, sc into the 3rd picot, ch 5, sc into the 4th picot, ch 7, sc into the ch sp/corner (repeat 3x until the end of the row), connect the last ch 7 to the 1st ch of the row Row 8: 11 sc in the first ch sp (7ch), In second ch sp: 2 sc, 1 picot, 2 sc, 1 picot, 2 sc (repeat for next ch 5 sp), 11 sc in the next ch sp (7ch) - (repeat all 3x until the end of the row), connect to first sc of the row End of pattern
Love your videos. But might 8 suggest to put how many chains to skip and how to put together. Been crochet for awhile but just learning this style. Great work 👏
This is so beautiful. My grandmother made me a twin size bedspread of crochet lace when I was young. I still have it. I have since learned to crochet but something about this small thread and small hook intimidates me. I'm a tight crocheter and dont know whether to go up a hook size or stitch looser stitches without destroying the intricate pattern. Any tips are appreciated.😊
Habe Deinen Kanal gleich abonniert. Grüße aus Thüringen/ Deutschland 🙋

One could harden these squares with resin and make a box for a candle. The dancing lace shadows would be mesmerizing.

For those like me who prefer a written pattern to follow when making multiple:
(American standard abbreviation used, I don't know EU - I did not include the part about connecting multiple together)
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
ch - chain
ch sp - chain space
Thread size: Classic 10
Hook size: 1.5mm
(I used a 1.6mm since I don't own 1.5 - it turned out only slightly larger)
Pattern:
Start with a slip knot on the hook (however you prefer to form it)
Row 1&2:
Ch 6, ch 8, dc in the 9th loop from the hook (the 6th ch), ch2, sk 2 ch, dc, ch 2, sk 2 ch, dc, ch 5
Turn your work
Row 3: dc in the first dc, ch 2, dc in the next dc, ch 2, dc in 3rd ch, ch 5
Turn your work
Row 4: (repeat row 3): dc in the first dc, ch 2, dc in the next dc, ch 2, dc in 3rd ch
(DO NOT turn - working around to the left)
Row 5: ch 3, 2dc in the same ch sp, dc in the first dc, 2 dc in the next ch sp, dc in the next dc, 3dc in the next ch sp, ch 3, 3 dc, dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next ch sp, dc in the next dc, 3 dc in the next ch sp, ch 3(repeat 2 more times to the end of the row), dc in the first dc of the row (which is a ch 3)
Row 6: 2 sc in the ch space created by the connecting dc of row 5, ch 2, 2 sc, 6 sc, ch 10, remove hood and insert one sc back, sl st the ch 10 through the previous sc you just inserted into. (You will form 5 picot in total): 2sc into the loop you just created, ch 4, sl st into the base st (where the ch starts) - repeat for 5 total picot), 2 sc after the 5 picot, sl st back into the original st of the ch 10 that made the loop, 4 sc, (into the ch sp of row 5): 2 sc, 2 ch, 2 sc
(Repeat this 3x to the end of the row)
At the end of the row, sl st to the 2 ch sp to join
Row 7: ch 1, ch 7, sc into the 2nd picot in the first loop/first side, ch 5, sc into the 3rd picot, ch 5, sc into the 4th picot, ch 7, sc into the ch sp/corner (repeat 3x until the end of the row), connect the last ch 7 to the 1st ch of the row
Row 8: 11 sc in the first ch sp (7ch), In second ch sp: 2 sc, 1 picot, 2 sc, 1 picot, 2 sc (repeat for next ch 5 sp), 11 sc in the next ch sp (7ch) - (repeat all 3x until the end of the row), connect to first sc of the row
End of pattern

That's a beautiful pattern! ❤ I have completed the 4 feet table runner. I would like to know if there is a border for it.
Love your videos. But might 8 suggest to put how many chains to skip and how to put together. Been crochet for awhile but just learning this style. Great work 👏
Belíssimo, sempre quiz aprender isto.
Estou conseguindo fazer. Obrigada pelo vídeo.

What kind of hook are you using? Can not recognize. Beautiful pattern, nice music. Thank you for your wonderful master class.
What kind of hook are you using?
I use a 7/1.5 hook. As long as the hook and thread match properly.
Lovely pattern
Can we use 2colours for blocks
Will there be a problem connecting 2blocks of different colours
♥️♥️🤗
Thanks!
