I don't imagine him being different behind the scenes. He seems such a nice and joyous guy that he must be completely insane if he's different backstage. Also he's got a bunch of people who have been working with him for many many years, which probably indicates he's a cool guy in reality.
It is, very infectious, but remember, he is Greek, and they can have a fierce temper...
"The rain must fall"... I always close my eyes, when listening to her amazing violin! I just have no words to discribe the feeling...

Mary is so great. I love her smile, I love her extraordinary play on the most difficult instrument. Yanni's violinists are masters musicians who made it look simple. They are the only ones besides Stefan Milenkovich that can create so much emotions that I cannot stop tears in my eyes.
Not only can she play superbly, but she has wonderful stage presence. I saw her on tour this summet. Despite the extreme number of performances over the years, she was smiling during the whole concert as if this was the most important one of all. .Awesome performer!

Indeed, Mary's performance is just epic, I first saw her in the 2012 live concert and her performance in the song of "The Rain Must Fall" really takes the person into a transe.

Yanni is truly a gift to the world. His compositions and arrangements are absolutely brilliant. That is why the best of world class musicians want to play for him. Mary Simpsonis my favorite female violinist. To me, her style seems so feminine, but still so strong. She wasn't with Yanni the last time I saw him in Dallas, but I hope she will be when he returns. If not, I might have to travel to another city to see her play live. I only hope that is an option and I can afford it. If not, I will be very happy to see the smaller show.

Such a hard instrument to learn to play. But such a beautiful instrument when in the right hands!

It depends on your definition of "learn to play".
99 out of 100 people can play a basic tune with a little familiarity on the strings. But to play the violin WELL is difficult. That's the main reason I quit the string section and switched to the trumpet..
