Betta Aquarium Maintenance

When I visited Dennerle in Germany last month, I saw my dear friend Volker Jochum doing the weekly maintenance of a betta aquarium, so I immediately filmed it. Is it good to grow Anubias in a place with this much light like that? Because I know that Anubias prefers medium to low light environments, or is it grown under the canopy of other plants.
