- Join Emmy Award-winning actor Tobias Menzies (The Crown, Outlander) for a conversation about Apple TV+’s new historical thriller, Manhunt, with Sirius XM’s Jessica Shaw.
Based on The New York Times-bestselling book from James L. Swanson, Manhunt tells the astonishing story of one of the best known but least understood crimes in American history - the 12-day hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, led by Lincoln’s War Secretary and friend Edwin Stanton (played with cool, determined aplomb by Menzies). After the special advance screening, hear Menzies and Shaw discuss the making of the series - the conspiracy-laden twists of the shocking true story, how he brought Stanton to life, how his work on series like The Crown and Outlander prepared him for a new kind of historical drama, stories from the set, and more.
Recorded March 11, 2024 at The 92nd Street Y, New York.

So underrated! Ive.seen some movies or shows that i thought were crap but if Tobias is in it i can ALWAYS count on THAT character being masterfully played3.
His career is only going up. Phenomenal actor. Love to see him getting better and better work and becoming more of a known quantity but he's been doing real quality performances in some great projects for some time now. Highly recommend going thru his lesser known work.
The way Tobias went from the demure Frank to the cold hearted Black Jack Randall on Outlander was beyond brilliant!
Tobias is always relaxed & comfortable in any interview .And such
Intelligent answers .The added bonus is his posh English accent
At last a starring role!
This man will be in movies and tv a long time.
Commands each role with such brilliance!
The whole reason I watched this is because Tobias is in it.
So sad I was too late to see this. Such a powerful play - Unsurprisingly, the show was sold out by the time I knew it was happening stateside. 😢
He looks so comfortable on this interview!!
Just hearing about the straight teeth... His teeth are perfect together with certain faces he makes in the roles I've seen. Like a land mark. 👌
And such a good point re: the yearning of Philip in the moon landing episode of The Crown. Palpable.
FRANK!!!!
the interviewer's sucking up makes it so cringe worthy to watch
