    The unit heats up fast and is super quiet. It looks fancy czcams.com/users/postUgkxl8Od2BvnGbn1ffwqsuFXW0QnmcZgMiVY and can be kept in the living room. It gets hot within a split second of turning on the unit. The build quality is exceptionally good and is safe to be around kids and pets. This one is super quiet and can be kept on while in office meetings, my wife loved it. It shows the temperature right on the unit which is very useful and adding a rotating feature helps to heat up the surrounding, so other people will not fight with you for heat. It is right as described in the description..!! Definitely recommend!!

      Nothing to it, if you know what your doing and plan ahead. Most important thing is leveling the perimeter of pool base or where the uprights well set and highly recommend using 12x12 stone blocks and also renting a laser to level each block exactly the same. Than level the inside where the pool well set and make sure you use lots of sand and spread it evenly as best as you could. Yes it's lots of work but when it's all done the right way it well be a lot of fun. Be patient and take your time. Peace to all and God Bless.

      Kenneth Burtelson, I pre screwed 4”x7”x3/4” cedar boards on the ends of the foot prior to setting up and they worked perfect. They didn’t hit the pool liner at all when filled. It is extremely important to get the pool perfectly level. I compacted 4” of sand under my Intex 16’ pool, then used the method found on You Tube with the rebar stake in the middle and a strait 2x4x18’ with a level taped to it to circle around the sand and level it. When filled the water was perfectly level around the liner. Don’t skimp on this part.

    Hello. For the pavers, did you have to dig up spots to drop them in, or did you just put them on top of the leveled ground? If you just put them on top, did it mess with the pool
    Dimensions?

    • @madmaxd1
      @madmaxd1 Před 4 lety

      You should install them leveled to grade.
      This prevents over stretching the liner and gives you a flat ground.
      A way on knowing where to place them is to just assemble the steel top ring without the liner and legs/support beams once you have the ground semi prepared.
      With help, place the ring on its final location and mark the areas where the feet will be at every the "T" brace with paint.
      Once that's done, dig down to install pavers at final grade.
      At the end, if all paver blocks are leveled to final grade (by using a laser or water level), you can use them as a reference to level off the ground itself around them, where the pool will sit and your pool will be perfectly leveled.

      @axelruntschke  Před 5 lety +3

      Thanks for watching, Christine! The pool does come with a ground cover. That's the big grey square tarp you see us putting down. The round blue one is something I just had laying around so I used it as well. You'll definitely want to remove all grass, rocks, roots and twigs from the area. I took us 3 weekends to clear and level the area, but our yards is on a pretty good incline. You'll also need to buy some concrete pavers to put under each leg to prevent them from settling over time.

    I noticed that you were leveling the support beams at the end.
    What type of prepping did you do?
    Red clay in Fla. You must be central towards North end of the state.
    I'm in Miami and I'm beginning to set one up.. I'm currently prepping the ground.
    I built a water level and plan to work the entire area with the lowest area as the base grade. Anything higher will get dug up.
    I also plan to compact the entire area with a tamper.
    I'm also planning to use 12" concrete pavers at a flush at grade with the leveled ground.
    Any input is greatly appreciated.
    Thx. in advance

    • @axelruntschke
      @axelruntschke  Před 4 lety +1

      You're on the right track with your plan. I used pieces of pressure treated 2x8 and 1x8 and would either set them into the ground or add dirt under them to raise them to achieve a level top ring.

    • @madmaxd1
      @madmaxd1 Před 4 lety +1

      @@axelruntschke So the pool was finally finished just about 3 months now.
      The good news is that the installation and prepping came out flawless. Not even a 1/2" offset and even made a small section with pavers on the outside, where the ladder sits to rinse feet before going in.
      The bad news is that even though all roots and grasses where ripped, ground leveled, sprayed the ground with Roundup and as a final precaution laid out a 5 mil thick tarp under the pool liner, a grass blade managed to grow through.
      I've read that St. Augustine and Bermuda grasses are very intrusive, but this is ridiculous.
      For now there's no leak and I'm not worrying about it. I'll deal with it when it really becomes a problem.
      Other than that, everyone is truly enjoying the watering hole.

    • @Cerus98
      @Cerus98 Před 2 lety

      @@axelruntschke - That is 100% NOT the proper way to level a pool. You never add soil. It will just compact down and be unlevel again. And you never raise the legs up like that. It stretches and stresses the liner. Level the area first and see the leg supports at the same level as the soil.

    • @axelruntschke
      @axelruntschke  Před 5 lety +4

      Macario Aguilar I used a gas powered tiller to loosen the hard ground, then raked from the high end down to the low. Ground ended up being too hard so I got 2 yards of sandy clay to put on the low side to get everything level. The pavers are absolutely necessary so the legs don't sink into the ground over time.

Also I had a nice heavy rubber mallet and banged the heck out of both sides until there was just about a 1/2 of room to fit them together. Initially I was about 8 inches off so this really helped.

      Not at all. The boards are either flush with the ground or just slightly above or below to achieve a level top ring. The liner in vinyl and very sturdy. No issues after 1 year.

    • @axelruntschke
      @axelruntschke  Před 5 lety +4

      Thanks for watching! The legs need something big and flat to sit on so they don't sink into the ground over time. I used pressure treated 2x8s because I had it on hand. However, I recommend concrete pavers. They'll last forever.

    How do you protect the liner from rubbing against the pool

    • @axelruntschke
      @axelruntschke  Před 4 lety

      Not sure I understand your question. Do you mean the metal poles? The poles are very smooth and the liner is very thick. And there is no movement once it's full of water.

    • @stacyjohnson3682
      @stacyjohnson3682 Před 4 lety +1

      Florida Outlander No I’m talking about the paver stones rubbing against the bladder of the pool. I’ve never been able to get my pool level this year I leveled with paver stones one or two depending on how and level it was in each spot we put the tarp over that I’m worried about it’s still rubbing a hole in the bladder of the pool because they are cement and with the weight of the pool it may cause rubbing

    • @axelruntschke
      @axelruntschke  Před 4 lety

      The liner is surprisingly sturdy. And if you have the tarp over the pavers as well you shouldn't have any issues. There's little to no movement down there at the bottom of the liner.

    • @stacyjohnson3682
      @stacyjohnson3682 Před 4 lety

      So I don’t need to put sand over those paver stones?

    By looking at the pool it doesn’t even seem worth paying for it cause it isn’t all that big at least for adults. To go through all the hassle I want to have a decent size pool for all to enjoy, especially if I have the yard space. I’m just looking for information on the setup so this did demonstrate the setup to some degree.
