I could never understand why train operators think a voyager would be able to replace an class 43

A pair of voyagers could replace a HST set, since you wouldn't lose that much capacity and maybe you would would gain extra capacity.

Even if the capacity of the HST isn't properly utilised and the cost of the voyagers is significantly less its worth it
