This song has to be the most fitting tribute to Dolores and the band, we are lost without The Cranberries xx
I had the privilege of seeing the Cranberries live several times in the 90s. One show, in particular, will stand out to me as one of the greatest concerts I've ever been to. It was in an outdoor amphitheater in Columbus, Ohio, and there was a storm rolling in. The ominous sky above and Dolores' haunting vocals were perfectly paired to connect with the 90s teenage angst that drew me to this band like no other. The opening line of Lost couldn't have more perfectly captured my favorite memory of my favorite band.
How awesome!!! I didn't get the chance to see them live. Would have been a epic concert I'm sure.

One part of my heart died with Dolores and I will never recover from this... This album marks the end of The Cranberries and the end of an era for me... I totally get it.. I learned to sing with Dolores and the bass with the boys and my cousin who since passed the drums. All my past heartache and pain from my ex's and family drama.. the cranberries music was there for me. All thier songs kept me going.

This song "Lost' is almost like a PRIMAL SCREAM foreshadoing what was to come not long after. It is so very sad what eventually did occur to end her time on this Earth. For some folks, happiness is so very elusive and fleeting. It may just be that we must work harder to find it or to make it for ourselves and hold onto it with all of our will.

It destroyed her, Don divorcing her. It broke her inside to not be with her children. To have her marriage end. You don't walk away from someone you love because they have a mental health issue. I am so sorry Dolores. Your heart was too tender for him anyway. I can't stop listening to this. We have all had that moment yet she verbalized exactly what it is like right then. Caught between your love for someone or letting it destroy you.

I agree with you 100%. I was going through the exact same thing as her and at right around the same time. I, also, too have bipolar disorder. In the middle of my treatment and therapy, my husband abandoned me. My heart breaks all over again when I hear this song and Conduct. @Ccmtz I disagree, that "for better and for worse, in sickness and in health" part of the marriage vows should mean everything but too many people just want to run away when the going gets tough. If you get married, you should be doing so because you love them enough to side along side them.

I find it so tragic that so many celebrities find themselves alone when they need a loved one. My sisters and myself stayed with my brother and he got help when he had a crisis. But Prince, and Dolores died alone. Keep on trying and pat yourself on the back because you made it without your husband. Sending you love and light.

This Music is the best of time.
I saw them in 2010 in my city and she was gorgeous like always was. Her voice and her kindness, her energy, the gig was magical, I was there but I wasnt realized it was hard to believe most harder when the news about her younger death. But lets remember the contribution that Dolores and the guys given to this world, not only artistic, but about kindness and love. I will never forget I think after she sang astral project or in the end of the show she says : All of you deserves to be happy, fight for it ! I didnt remember exactly the word by word but some like this. And this words makes all the crowd thinking about what you were doing with our lives and how to find a balance between happiness and sorrow. So sad, so beautiful, kind, and young .... :(
