That is actually what they do ingame too though. They store the decreased disposition from the event, but most NPCs won't attack based on disposition alone, so once the fight is resolved, they keep the facial expression, but no longer attack.

It's the little details that really bring this all together and take it to the next level, and as other comments have said, this is easily the best one yet. Not only of your guys channel, but of any NPC video I've ever seen, personally. The leg sort of "swaying" after dying, and the slight object collision she experiences when walking by the MC and sort of course corrects. It's nothing that's particularly abundant or may not even be noticed on first viewing, but man. This is sincerely some truly impressive stuff. It’s crazy to have my brain know they’re really moving like that while part of it is fooled into thinking I’m watching an actual video game. Simply magical to witness. 😅❤️
The glitch just nailed it. NPC returned to walking state but realized itself clipping to object and follow by system ending his life with the only way to stop glitching
The courier can't die , if he gets stuck he just pops into the air from about 5 feet on the nearest location and drops , or he just disappears. He's literally immune to death lol
It's not random, he had died from Nicki's attack right away but the NPC got to finish playing the letter delivering script first and only after remember that he died.
This summed up my extensive years enjoying skyrim into a single short...I feel called out, overjoyed, nostalgic, and glad I’m not the only one to experience things like this
