      Thanks for the kind words. My Kata for Self Defense channel is not all that popular, and I think because there are over 100 videos, it is difficult for people to sort through them. But the professionally edited videos are also listed in other locations, formerly the Shuhari Institute channel, where this video had over 17,000 views. All together my videos have well over 2 million views.

    I’ve been mulling over Sochin for a while now trying to figure out what that opening can do. My initial thoughts were that it’s breaking the attacker’s grips if he’s grabbed you with both hands from the front but this makes more sense because of the simultaneous block/punch aspect. Thank you for everything you do!
