Of all my travels, the middle east was a d has been still by far my fave place. There's a magic there that I can't describe, something about it remain unmatched. Dubai and Jordan were my favorite of the places I went to...forever in my heart and the last places I went to before the pandemic worsened. I long to return, everyone falls in love with it. You captured it's essence perfect âš living vicariously
Oh this makes me long for the desert, the light and beauty of it all, you can almost feel the warmth of the sand through the screen! Raffles is also unspeakably gorgeous, every detail is fit for a queen, thank you for taking on this incredible adventure!

@BabyHols777 Have you been? I have to disagree with you there, there is sooo much to do and they put a lot of effort into the trips - Everywhere has its ups and downs, but I have family that live there and have travelled there recently, and are very happy.

A few weeks ago, I watched another blogger in Dubai, almost exactly the same content. Even the piano lady in red is the same. What is that? Does Dubai sponsor and organize these trips?
Honestly, I wouldnât be surprised. Dubai forces influencers who life there permanently to sign some kind of contract that forbids them to say anything negative about Dubai and itâs not existing human rights for most of the inhabitants.
I watched that other vlog, I think the vlogger mentioned being invited by the hotel if I remember correctly

Why do all the influencers still flock to Dubai? Why go there? Especially knowing all the stories. If I were an influencer I'd want to distance myself as much as I can from that narrative.

Just so everyone knows who sees influencers go to dubai everyday, it really is quite different in reality shen ur out of the luxury hotels and shops.
Well itâs essentially just a desert so the hotels, shops and malls are what makes it what it is and people likes it apparently.. not my dream destination but would definitely love to tick it off

I love your blog and your travel diaries, but this destination⊠oh idk. Just doesnât seem right. From what lâve heard, Dubai is only great for rich people, European/US tourists (which usually fall in the first category) and influencers.

Ive loved your channel for a while now but it makes me sad for people to make vlogs about how amazing Dubai is. So many influencers make dubai seem amazing in these vlogs without knowing the darkside of that terrible place. There are countries much more worthy of exploring, than a industrial city profiting off the blood sweat and tears of their workers.

@@-NewDay- no i have not. cause im not going to spend my money on a place with such horrible ideals. I dont blame anyone for going to splurge there as not many people look into its slave labour. One of the riches cities in the world and its built on the ideals of slave labour, manipulation and deceit. My country is South africa and it no goddamn paradise but for a country built on similar ideas it does not profit hugely of the backs of slaves like that city does.

Why donât you take the Zimmermann shorts to a tailor who can recreate the shorts perfectly for you for a 10th of the price. You could also pick the fabric and have different styles.

When I went to Dubai, I actually had a negative/fearful experience and culture shock but this vlog makes me think maybe I could try again. You make it look so glamorous! Glad you had a safe and fun time ! đđ

What a lovely trip! The hotel seems like from a dream. I enjoyed mostly when you filmed day 4. It reminded me a bit off your Marrakesh trip. It's still on my to do list to do a camel ride in the deserts.
I loved the scalloped shorts the price was a little up there for me lol. But when you invest in staples it pays off.

Wow! I could wander around that hotel just luxuriating in all the gorgeous, over-the-top details! Stunning... absolutely stunning! The choreographed water features could mesmerize me for hours. I hope there were plenty of places to relax, have a bite to eat or a cocktail and get lost in those dancing fountains! Spectacular! (A bit reminiscent of the fountains at the Bellagio in Vegas, but on a much grander scale!) What a glorious getaway!

I have to compliment you two for the effort you put into the photography..beautifully done...And!!..The fact that you took care to film each of your meals, adventures etc. In great detail..even the tour of your suite and the interiors of the hotel..including the elevator!! helped me almost feel I was with you two..so many influence rs just quickly whip their cameras around in a very jerky unprofessional manner often times showing their rooms after they have trashed them with their belongings and barely showing their followers/subscribers any of the wonderful events, meals out etc....then the next day they sometimes apologize and declare "so sorry..forgot to vlog"! Annoys me to no end..isn't that part of their job?

I agree. In the frown was there recently and showed nothing. Don't understand why hotels would pay for this kind of marketing? I didn't feel encouraged to visit at all.
