Honeybees on Milkweed

Milkweed has just started blooming and the bees are already aware. Milkweed, along with clover are important sources of forage during the summer dearth where nectar availability drops off considerably.
Leaving areas of your property wilded is a huge boon for all wildlife, including pollinators.

Milkweed can be very invasive. After blooming is complete, but before seed formation we mow it down.
