I personally love the invasion eye in the sky's so much. I think one of the layers I would love to see is Fallujah Inv v6. MEA and PLA in dense urban fights is something you just don't see on most servers.

Militia Vs. Insurgents is always fun. Though PLA vs. MEA is one I want to see.
Most armor in this game ive seen runs at the first contact of actual resistance and goes away or drives to a standoff distance where most people will have trouble hitting them and sniping until armor or emplacements make them go away.
had one of the best invasion games i've ever had on the NMA invasion server, extremely well organized and planned out maneuvers, can't even remember if we won or not.

I just recently purchased a pc that can run this, just not sure how to get started as obviously playing alone will blow
Honestly, that's the best part of playing squad. You don't need a normal group. You just hop in and talk to people and coordinate. As long as you are nice most people will be happy to squad up again. At least for the next match. Meeting mostly new people is my favorite part of squad.
I have almost 2000 hours on the game. I've never had a "squad". I've always just joined with randoms. Sometimes I befriend these randoms. Just jump in dude, it's all good fun

As others have already said, playing alone is nothing to be scared of, in fact one learns more playing with randoms. You can even look for servers that are "new player friendly". In those servers making a mistake isn't a big deal, people are more supportive and tolerating. I even got my first squad lead in that server with someone staying by my side to teach me what to do (in return I've teached some other players)
A nice change of things, to finally see armour doing their job in a Squad game. Also it must've been a blast to play this game boots on the ground

Like that idea, though 5 minutes feels very long for people to have to wait.

Once had a game of invasion year ago or so, we kept killing their vehicles, by the third or fourth point they ended up walking from main, 2km, the timer ran out, back then, if the timer ran out the attackers automatically won, we had a few hundred more tickets than them still... No one was happy, we felt cheated, they felt it was a hollow victory, about half the teams left before I did.

idk how they would balance it, but i'd so love to get more specialized equipment like MANPADS added- and accordingly added IR countermeasures to the helos. imagine a whole spectrum of infrared warfare, or the general coolness of seeing choppers pop flares to dodge missiles right there above your head, itd be sick!!
