    Great video...i think in europe small bikes will get more attention ..but when u re in indonesia u have no choice but 100-250 cc ..and most of the models tries too much to look like sport motorcyxles....so engine and the front end are the only parts that can be use out of it

    Im wonder should I go with older 70-80s honda and try to restore it or get something less popular brand like barton and so on younger 2015-2019? Is there really huge difference in terms of quality between Honda and this new brands in that low 125 capacity?

    • @blackwoodYT
      @blackwoodYT  Před 3 lety +1

      there is no that difference -more of that I'm sure that old bikes are most likely produced with better quality materials (not that much aluminium etc.) but the most issue is that - 1) they break more often 2) there is not that much available parts and prices may be really different (from really cheap to truly expensive) and they are most likely not that 'technologically advanced' brands are working so much on making 125cc better this days because there are a lot of countries where you can ride these bikes with Car driving license - so they are almost as good (or sometimes even better) than 250cc bikes - In my opinion if you want bike - even a custom one - you want to truly enjoy it and ride it everyday - I've seen a lot of people who bought an old honda CB or BMW K series and make a beautifull bikes out of it but sold it after a season or two and in case of new ones you can enjoy your bike for a) many years (if it is a better than a low-end bike) 2) the parts are cheap af haha

      Try a Honda cgx, or Honda shine. Just change headlight, mudguard and seat. Plus it can take a punishment. Even stock I've used it as a scrambler. Haven't modified mine as it's looks grew on me. Also had a friend run it without oil (unbelievable right). It still works great.
