Jeremy & George are back in ODDer Creek for the Winter Season, fighting corruption and treasure hunting whenever they can
But there focus has transitioned this December as they focus solely on "Christmas In The Creek"
A year ago, former mayor Russ The Suss cancelled Christmas for all the residents of Otter Creek
So the residents came together to throw the biggest Christmas Celebration the tiny town has ever experienced
But they had absolutely no idea that so many people would come, especially in the pouring rain
They traffic was backed up for miles and the cops had to come intervene
The local news station showed up as well, as thousands of people stood in the rain for hours to see Santa
The day after showed the property damage
But Jeremy & George aren't even mad

All in all, I think the "1'st Annual Hudson-Hales Christmas In The Creek" was most likely the biggest, best event in the state.
I want to thank all of you for what you did for the children. It was amazing brought a lot of tears to my eyes. And celebrating Jesus birthday.AMEN

You all made Christmas magical for the kids, and l was blown away by the fact that even though you had a massive storm and everyone was soaked and were having to stand in the rain for hours, the kids were so well behaved and excited, It would be nice if you could take some of the gifts to the hospital for the children who have to stay in hospital over Christmas, sending love and hugs from the UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧💕💕💕💕
That was the best and the largest Christmas party I have ever seen. Congratulations to all of you for giving toys,and love to all.

You proved how loving & caring most of The Beautiful little town of Otter Creek starting with those wonderful feisty HUDSON SISTERS. GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY & PARENTS WHO HELPED START THIS TRADITION IN THE BEGINNING.

God bless all that donated gifts, time & money that made this an absolutely success wonderful blessing holiday for so many children of every age.

Hey Jeremy I’ve got a couple ideas for you. On the yard I’d either have more dirt hauled in or this is how I leveled out my backyard. I got a old All metal box spring, antique,old school and I weighed it down with cinder blocks which I zip tied them to the springs and I hooked it up to my atv with a chain and drug that thing for a few hours and it eventually leveled it out. Instead of shrink wrapping the X-mas trees I would go to a moving/storage facility and buy those mattress bags that you put a mattress in when you move.

For a first event, I think you did very well. It is good that you are already planning for Christmas in the Creek 2024. There was so much more to this event than anyone imagined.

Christian in the Creek was an amazing success! How about an Easter egg event so children can hunt for Easter eggs? That would be such fun for the community.

U really have a hales of a big mountain of cleaning up to do, but i can see the joy in your face showing the aftermath of the great event. I hope you get the flooring fixed soon? As for the cleaning with Gods help & grace it will done. I'm going to say a prayer for the work to be a light load on all of the workers in Santa's workshop down south. While Christmas in the Creek was a smashing success, having the event once certainly presents ideas for how it can get better. Every time Jeremy opened those doors, I kept waiting for George to appear and scare him 😂😂
Great job everyone. You all deserve a big hug. You blessed all those children with a great Christmas. You all are so awesome. Just some suggestions. Maybe next year, rent some portable outside toilets. That will save on your septic. We rented some, when we had a big Easter party at our house one year. For your floor, so you don't have a mess with mud and candy. Check often with companies that sale rugs and carpet to see, if they are getting rid of out dated runners or old carpet. Then lay them over your floor. You can then pick them up. Lay them over a fence and take a hose to them. I suggested it the other night, you really need two Mr and Mrs Santas. Also, maybe rotate the elves too. Might start a little earlier next time. Since you now know, you will be there late. After Christmas, is the best time to shop. Half price items like gift bags and things might be on sale. One good food item I found best and most kids love it is, sloppy Joseph. Ok, sloppy Joes, with a drink and chips. They are always a hit. Yes, hot dogs too. But most the kids wanted the sloppy Joseph. Hey, it was Easter. 🥰 You give food a different name and kids love it. Not to be a Debbie downer, but really think about blocked that hall with Santa. You would have to leave room for entering and leaving the rooms and you might get all bottle necked up. People coming and going at the same time. In less you keep people out the door till, people come out. But then, your day will be much longer. You could put up a wall like you said. Then make an enclosed porch with good lighting and have Santa outside on the porch to, take pictures and then send them in to get a toy. I would also, have those candy canes in a basket. That way, no sticky hands. Then hand them to the kids. Oh for gift bags, I have used Colored paper bags. I would buy all my stuff from Oriental trade. They use to have things pretty cheap. These are just suggestions and like any suggestions, we all have them. 🥰 Please take them as a grain of salt. Over all, I think you threw the most fabulous Christmas gathering of the year. Loved watching the kids being so happy. I'm sure, everyone's heart grew watching too. May the Lord keep blessing you all. So, any plans for Easter? Be a great time to spread more love of our Lord around! Just think of how many Easter eggs, you would get in the mail and candy? You could have cake walks, egg races, drawing, egg hunt, the world's biggest pinatas. You could make one yourself. I made one out of a balloon and paper-mache. Ok flour and water. Then painted it like a colorful egg. It was way too strong. We broke two broom sticks. We had to use a baseball bat. The kids loved it. We didn't blind fold them. Out of safety. Come on, do a Easter egg hunt.😁 You can do it all outdoors. 😁Much love!!. 😉😉🥰🥰✝️🙌🙌💕💕

You ladies and gents did SUCH a spectacular job, ESPECIALLY when you consider the weather and the overwhelming response of the families who came.
Next year, when you send out notices, perhaps you can ask people to RSVP on Facebook, CZcams, etc., OR get an "800" number (depending on cost). Perhaps that could be brought up at the townhall meeting and THEY could contribute the funds for the phone line. You won't get an EXACT number, of course, but you'll have a rough estimate of attendees, anyway, and can plan accordingly.
This will also help you when talking to the food truck owners. They will also want to know an estimate, so they can order enough food. Also, you'll need to check and see how many, if any, trucks might need electricity, or if they will have generators. I know Jeremy is working on the electricity, since y'all blew a fuse during the party. It might be a good idea to talk to the electricians about how many 110 AND 220 volt outlets the building can handle.
Also, see if anyone works for a company that has some spare oil drums they would like to donate for use as trash cans around the property. These can be cleaned and painted for Christmas.
Like I said before, I'm a retired Events Planner, so I start thinking about the logistics. You can tell me to "take a long walk off a short pier" if I'm overstepping. My family does all the time!!!🤪🤪🤪😇😇😇

Sounds like you needed to have about a dozen porta potty’s brought in. You can even get handwashing stations for them too. When my store was doing a full remodel without closing they had to bring in those for the employees. They moved one department at a time out under a big circus tent in the parking lot while they did their section. Summer in Central Oregon isn’t exactly cool and has frequent thunderstorms. Oh what fun to work out in the tent.

Maybe another idea is have some "play til you win" carnival games. Save those stuff toys from storage if they're in good condition to give away? Pop the balloon with a dart or the "get the bowling ball stuck in the middle" type games Or even ping pong ball through a certain colored hole to win a prize....non gimmick is what I mean.

The previous owner of the decorations would of been celebrating with the Hudson parents. Seeing all the smiles on all the beautiful children and their families. I know this looks bad, but this was a great event. I was watching and I cried several times. You, What The Hales, have restored my faith in Christmas. I have become such a scrooge over the years. So next year you can have volunteers help with parking. ❤ Sounds like you got it planned out for next year perfect 🎉. Most definitely watch that gate where your cellphone tower is. No one but workers are allowed back there, very dangerous. Only the owner to the property and the workers are suppose to have keys to those locks. I was very shocked to see yours laying on the ground 😮
