Mr. Barlow is absolutely, 100% THE reason I got hooked on this channel to begin with. His grumpy manner is absolutely hilarious. I lost two good friends who had very much the same personality (one to cancer and one to COVID) about a year ago, and watching GolfMates, especially with Steve, is the closest I get to seeing them again. One of those mates would bitch and moan and argue all day, seemingly hating the game, then immediately ask when we were playing again as soon as the round ended. It's a shame so many of the commenters seem to not understand that it's fun to rip each other, then go right back to being friends, and that many of those with the most "grumpy" exterior have a heart of gold.

Love this channel and so true to mates playing golf. stirring mates up and having a laugh when one spits the dummy. Great banter and sure the pint after the game was welcome. The thing is Liam, you get loads of comments complaining about Mr B. He might be a good mate of yours but if half of your client base gets wound up bring irritated by him then that can’t be a good thing for your brand. The gentleman golf featuring OMP and EBay get loads of positive comments. Maybe something to think about.

That’s really good content. Laughed a lot 😂😂. Ps I always click on thumbnails with Steve on first. I have no idea why a handful of 200,000 viewers think they can try and dictate what exactly the other 200,000 watch. If you play golf a thousand times with your mates, there’s always a bit of niggle once in a while. It also makes you closer when you look back and laugh about it. Keep doing what you’re doing, boys. I’m all in.

I agree that the format is great; I would like to propose one rule change, though. I think that each person should have the two BTTF cards (like they did), but that you could only have two BTTF cards called against you. As it is, one person could have to replay four shots and others would have to replay one (or none).

LOL Liam, you missed the second part of this games strategy. You targeted Steve in the first hole - fair play - but instead of targeting him again, you could have given Ebay an opportunity to replay a duffed shot. That favouritism for the third player has the same effect as targeting the second player. We have a good friend whose nature is close to Steve's and we do that to him all the time just because it gets in his head and then the game is decided between the other two 🤣🤣🤣

We all get out of bed on the wrong side some days, its rare we are all on camera shorlty after that. Everyone deserves a break now and then. Golf is extremely frustrating. I've walked off golf courses in the huff, at least Ste stayed the course.
Its 2 v 1 n half😅 banter aside Liam played really good,Mr.B hit the ball solid but his putting let him down and Pete was just practising his par 4 lay-ups:)
