GWWD's Classic MLW RS-23 at Work around Winnipeg !

Check out the horn battle between CN 7528 and GWWD 202 at 2:36 !!
It's been a minute since I've shot the GWWD ! On Feb. 6th, 2024, I caught GWWD's 1960 MLW RS23 number 202 heading east to Deacon's Corner.
At the same time 202 was crossing Holden street, CN 7528-9581 were working the GWWD interchange track. 202 was blowing for the crossing and CN was blowing back at them! That was pretty cool, lol.
I managed to also catch the train going over a brand new crossing, Ray Marius Rd. It happens to be in the middle of what was a siding/passing track that was cut in half to make this road. I've got some pics of it from when it was still intact, didn't seem to have been used all that often.
I caught the train a couple more times at Symington Rd. and Hwy 101 (perimeter hwy) as it trundled across the floodway into the water treatment plant.

Wow! Very long time since I’ve seen re-railers, aka climbers, carried by locomotives! Also…what’s with so many tank cars on the GWWD Railroad? Apart from facilitating maintenance of the Winnipeg water supply aqueduct, it does transport hydrofluosilicic acid to the Shoal Lake end of the aqueduct but quantities like that?
