Some time stamps and a brief explanation (I'm not good at explaining my ideas but here's an overall thought that I had while making the video):
0:00 - Where it all began (night of the treason, a portal is open, the search for an answer)
2:03 - Counterparts (the realization that something is not right, Shin Jae is the biggest proof, + confrontation with the truth)
3:51 - My savior (LG realizes he's the one who saved himself, time travel is explained, we go back to the begging)
4:50 - Consequences (the unfortunate consequences of two worlds colliding can only be stopped by changing everything, a sacrifice is needed)
6:01 - Sacrifice (LG is willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good by doing what he's destined, fulfilling the words written on the sword. JY is willing to sacrifice his life to protect his King by being his unbreakable sword until the end. TE that knowing that their sad destiny was already into motion, don't stand still and gets ready to do what is necessary in order to stop Lee Lim)
8:16 - Where it all ends (By successfully defeating Lee Lim their past is changed. But fate allows LG and TE to find each other. We come full circle).

Well lest respect each other’s opinion here,I personally felt like tkem had a lot of wasted potential and well it was interesting in some parts but just fell flat in others and honestly the only reason I continued was for Woo Do Hwan’s characters.On another note this edit is amazing.

I just realized that since the flow of their timelines was changed, their past selves would never meet each other again. From that point in time, only the present Lee Gon and Jung Tae Eul have the retained the memories they had shared together. Even in their parallel timelines, there won't be another Lee Gon and Jung Tae Eul couple, it's just them the present Lee Gon and Jung Tae Eul. Now, this is more heartbreaking than it could get.

The King was a truly masterpiece, you could feel the love between the characters like Lee Gon who loves Tae Eul tirelessly, the bound between him and Jo Young, his love for lady noh, even how they sacrifice for each other was showed up beautifully and here's your video can explain everything in eight minutes, i totally love it 👏👏💕
