The LFA is just awesome! My favourite V10 car still is the BMW E60 M5 but this one is right up there as well! Enjoy the rest of Australia, Sam!

1 piece of advice for Australia Sam, from an Australian. expect all weather conditions, cloudy in the morning does not mean cloudy and cold all day
And if your driving any long legs, make sure you fill up with fuel, we don't have petrol stations every 20 minutes on route.... some can even be closed when you get there...I have seen that happen to shocked tourists...in remote areas on a Sunday. Occasionally they fill the car for you...still... I used to luv that bit...great customer service.

In regards to the drone, my Mavic Pro did a similar thing, and it turned out that the Gimbal ribbon cable was knackered, so it had to sent off for repair. To be fair though, that was a very quick process; I sent the device to the Netherlands (from the UK), they assessed it, repaired it and sent it back - that was all within a week! Great service.

If lap times were important, plenty of cars destroy the LFA. What's frustrating is that Toyota/Lexus are capable of creating great cars but refuse to do so, since the LFA at least. Instead they choose to release a new Supra with borrowed tech, and Lexus' that are way too heavy.
bongmist If Toyota were to build such a low-volume car themselves, the cost of R&D would be monumental, and the price would be even higher than it currently is. This would prompt everyone to claim the car’s overpriced and not true to the Supra name, since the MkIV also retailed for about USD 50k, adjusting for inflation. That we’re even getting a new RWD sports car equipped with an inline 6 from the same company that makes soggy lumps of bread on wheels like the Prius and RAV4 should be celebrated.
@@RohanIyer - Toyota have a market capitalization of $199 billion, and VW with $95 billion at 2nd place. It's fair to say that Toyota have enough funds and resources to build a car from the ground up. Toyota had 20 years to think about a new Supra, instead they opted for a half hearted approach with BMW.
That LFA sound reminds me of Carrera GT sound. You can never mistake it for another one. Great to see you driving it man, that's a dream come true for a lot of people.
The wine country looks similar to the wine country near Santa Barbara. Very pretty

Check to see if your Mavic still has it's camera gimbal plate elastic bands in place.
Also, after the drone has been sitting in an air conditioned room for a few hours turn it on (without unfolding it) and go into the DJI Go 4 app to perform an IMU calibration and gimbal calibration. Do a compass calibration before you next fly it and it should be good to go!

LFAs are kind of sweet because in the US a bunch of dealer owners ended up buying them and as a result there are a bunch of awesome low mileage examples that people are finally coming around to!
Mate there is not many of these in Oz.
Only ever saw a yellow on display at Lexus of Brighton.

You should try and check out some Aussie cars while you're here. Seems like a great opportunity to show something different and unique to Australia. Try and line up a performance Falcon or Commodore to drive before you leave. What a great series.
Sam: An observation, not meant as a criticism - I'm forming an impression that a number of your World Drive videos are basically identical in style, subject and format to those you have done successfully before, set in the UK, Europe and the USA.
I was expecting more from your World Drive. For both of you, this is literally the trip of a lifetime; undertaken at great personal financial cost. A Lamborghini super car in Australia doesn't look any different to one in the UK, Europe or the States. The people, the landscape, the food and lifestyle WILL be different as you travel around the world.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I, for one, expected and hoped for a mixture of super car, lifestyle and personal vlogs videos from this trip. I think the personal and lifestyle content type videos need to increase as an overall proportion. As a once in a lifetime trip, your videos would be better if they were more personal, allowing your personality to be revealed more to your growing audience. Use these videos to allow greater appreciation of you, as a personality.
Anyone can take a photo of a super car - but only a few, such as you, can make it as an interesting personality in front of a camera. Use this trip to develop your personal screen presence.

No, it IS the best sounding exhaust ever made- aftermarket or factory. That car makes me cry the sound is so beautiful. Nothing is better. Your wife telling you she loves you? Not as beautiful. The crying of a newborn baby? Not as beautiful. The sound of your worst enemy being pushed through a woodchipper? Not as beautiful.
