Whenever we visit our kul Devta bhairav Baba ji place, specially on Sunday, We've witnessed so many times that Bhairav Baba comes into the pujari ji (in our local language we called him, Bhopa ji ) body and solve people problems and guide them. We have been seeing the animal sacrifice in our local puja rituals thoughout our life.. It really hurts your heart to see an innocent animal being killed but again its been going on from eternity. You have options either you avoid it or go along with it. Ive been a vegetarian since i got the sence of the pain. That pain is of an animal being killed. Bali pratha in UK is a never ending discussion . In older times even human sacrifice was allowed.Hatkalika mata temple in Gangolihat Pithoragarh UK is an example of it where human sacrifice was must. Shankarachrya turned that human sacrifice into an animal sacrifice because even he couldn't stop it. Now days in many places devotees offering coconut instead of an animal only because of govt rules. Again its a never ending discussion either you do it or dont.
