Probably the most anticipated album this year for me. Every song feels unique and special but you can feel the overall Judas topic all the time. I'm really excited to hear how the album as a whole sounds especially because it's a double album.
The lady in the video gives me distinct Winter Soldier vibes due to her attempts to fight those urges to kill Chris; possibly she was brainwashed by the mysterious priests; and that urge eventually turns against herself. That's where Priest takes over with her lying on the forest floor. A beautiful, powerful video, the story unfolding here is intriguing and I can't wait to see and hear more of it. Rock on, guys.

I really like how that "Striga" is pagan styled up to the dreadclocks and in the end she pulls an ordinary kitchen knife from Tesco store instead of saex or dagger.

I see so many analogies with obsession by the other person, stalking, attempts to kill the object of the obsession. But I may be wrong. Such a powerful and amazing story and music! And that choir gave me a tons of goosebumps!

As "Judas" is now released, it became possible to shed some new light on this music video. Here is kinda "theory" I have and want to share. Pls, feel free to discuss.
Let's set apart from the canons of Christianity and look at the artistic dimension created by Lord Of The Lost:
1. The girl in this video (performed by Xelanah) represents Judas Iskarioth. Here are some arguments:
- in the beginning, we see a sort of religious gathering or ritual, but the only one present, who is not in the circle, is the girl. She is an outcast, the 13th.
- she seeks an opportunity to strike, pulls out a knife and tries to stab the man's back (performed by Chris Harms)
- later we can see the sinister cultists trying to undergo the ritual, but they suffer in pain, thus no one manages to succeed (except Judas)
2. The man represents Jesus
- the Gospel of Judas, a source of inspiration for this album, describes some private conversations between Judas and Jesus. The situations when the girl attempts to attack the man may refer to these conversations
- in the "Priest" video the same person took her to a cave. If we assume that the chronological order was intentionally confused, then we have a situation when Judas' quite serious wound is healed in a short time. As we know, Jesus is known for his healing wonders
- Chris' haircut. It is quite unusual of him to let his hair down. I suppose in such a way he tries to look more like the Messiah
3. Notes about the Betrayal
- a knife as a weapon of betrayal is mentioned in "Born with a Broken Heart": "...It hurts to stab in the back... You've been handed the knife"
- despite Judas fails the attack, Jesus doesn't seem to struggle, thereby accepting the betrayal
- the action takes place in two ways simultaneously: the "real world" where Jesus stops the stab, and a metaphorical one where Judas continues the fight and eventually kills herself. You can see the difference if you look at the black eyes, long nails, and dark filter upon the image. This dualism reflects the whole idea of Judas' betrayal: while on the surface it is Judas who betrays Jesus, but from another perspective, it is Judas who is betrayed herself, made to play the role of a villain and carry the blame. In "The 13th" Judas calls Jesus a liar and "repents his oath".
- also, in "Euphoria" Judas appeals to Jesus: "Follow I will, but I ask of you still to look back at me". In the video, Jesus turns back to Judas before the latter strikes.
- Judas has visions of attacking Jesus in different ways, at these times she has the same "demonic" look. Apparently, Judas loves and hates Jesus at the same time, like said in "Death is just a kiss away": "Oh well, love is here and so is hate". But in the very end, she decides to sacrifice herself.
All of this is just my suggestions, neither do I intend to offend someone, nor claim to understand LOTL's art correctly. So I hope to see some more details in the upcoming music videos and, of course, your comments on the topic. Let's discover the new album together!

Interesting thank you. It is the video that explains the most the concept .And duality in judas s minde. Here we can see a woman because it was the most easy way to hunderstand the love betwin them. He (she here ) betrayed him for love and make him be a martyr and a symbol for the world but suffer from this sacrifice. Then jesus, (chris here) forgive Her and give her peace of minde. (Sorry for my english ) and judas became sort of martyr in the eyes of jesus .
