- Imagine this - a sport that combines basketball, wrestling, and rugby. Sounds ridiculous, right? Well, it’s real. A clip from Russia’s WrestleBall league recently went viral, revealing to a worldwide audience the game that fuses the three sports, with two teams playing on a basketball court, but with much more physical contact and, well, violence involved.

Here in the Philippines, MMA is part of Basketball. It is pretty common to see casual basketball games in the streets involving wrestling and even boxing at times 😂

Wrestle ball has always existed in the Philippines since basketball was introduced to the country. I remember as young as 3, I would play with my brother basketball WWF style 😂
When I was in elementary school we played this during recess. We called it Jungle ball. Nobody intended to play it when we started playing either.
