Love how your wife looks at you and smiles
Ya'll are awesome. Learned what i needed to and i feel like i spent a little time with some really great people!
Pretty cool I'm quite impressed 👍
We are definitely buying one of these for our well water for our land
Jenny definitely loves pink :)
Sometimes you just need to bite the bullet and purchase a tool like this that saves you time, energy, and aggravation! Very cool! I've hand-pounded my share of t-posts over the years.
So I far I would say this is by far worth the bullet!
If you grind a point on your t-post it will break through the rock or brick in most cases.
I have used several and have used them on Timeless posts as well. I love the Skidrill. They are more balanced. Years ago they started out real expensive but now you can buy one for under $500. You can make an arm for your tractor that allows it to stay in the air when going from post to post.
Thank you! I will look into those!
I'm SO GLAD Jenny used this. Now, I WANT ONE!
It is pretty sweet!!
That makes quick work of setting up t posts, need one of those on a farm for sure
Yes!
I have one and love it
Thx for showing that she could do it too
This. Is. Awesome. 🙌
Yes! Thank you. It really is a time and effort saver.
Hi, so glad ur partner (female) tried it! I am an older lady by myself and need to build fencing for my poultry. Ya! She did it and it seemed easy for her!
I do too!
Thanks! This is the first vid on one of those.I was wondering if they were worth the money. For the taller post put your little trailer behind the 4 wheeler and carry the post and stand in it to make you taller. Just a thought.
Great idea thanks!
Was it difficult to keep the post straight? How heavy is the tool? Thank you.
Nice!
Really is!!
Looks like a nice machine
Seems to be!
just last week i hit one of my pipes, 200 dollar fence project turned into a 4,500 dollar fix
Oh man, that's no fun! Hopefully no other incidents happened!
I just had to pound in a t post earlier today. You should've come over to demonstrate that machine. 😜
Even 1 can be exhausting!
I have one that looks identical. But, I noticed the 50:1 fuel sticker on yours, and mine calls for 25:1 gas /oil mixture. Can’t help but wonder why the difference?
yer a blessed man there would be no-way my ex would eventhink bout doin this,, now i know who ta call ta help put up fence when i get my next place,,,, hahaha,, jist kidden bout ya commin up ta the u.p. ta help with fencin,,, thank ya fer the video
LOL! I am blessed for sure!!
Would this work in soil with lots of rocks and hard soil?
Stand in the back of the truck. You can also carry the T posts in the bed of the truck......
Thanks Tim! Great idea!
Man bro ..I'm sold!..I got an 8 acre farm with no fence..i'm ordering!!
Mike has been using it a lot the past few days to put up more horse pasture and it has been a huge blessing! Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours! Good luck!
pretty cool machine , i did get a kick out of Mama dressed in all her Pink accessories driving the Post in all by herself ! She is a Keeper
Beast Mode Jeni for the win! That machine looks awesome and will be extremely useful....the question is how do you get the t posts back out driving them in that far? Lol
Tractor saves the day on pulling. I usually have the 3 point carry all attached to the tractor, wrap a chain around carry all and other end around tpost ... and lift. Move onto next one :)
What brand and model?
When I need some t post you can bring it over here to Coldwater
:) Sure, let me check my calendar :)
I call those the water line finder. Lol
Lol
At least they are bricks that will break instead of big rocks that won't break or move.
Very true!
Brand?
For higher tpost i saw people stand in the backof a pickup truck for height to drive the post.
Yes! And I have stood on ladders, on my lawn tractor, on my bigger tractors .... LOL!! I find a way!
That is easy work in the grass, what happens when it hits real rocks as we have here in rockansas?
I think we stated in the video that is is a bad spot that I always have trouble pounding in t-posts. He had recently learned that the "ol' farmer" fell a brick silo here into a pit. That explained alot of my troubles with pounding in posts.
I can feel this thing wiggling the post around rocks and whatever.
That said. I have to imagine if the ground is rock it will be a no go. If rocks are so packed in that no matter what you do you can't get a post in ... Then this may not work as well.
But, I would say .... If with lots of hard work you can manually get a tpost in .... Or with a tractor pushing it in .... Then you could use this as well. Just my guess.
@@PrattFamilyHomestead I heard that in the video, but respectfully, packed rock and slate is a bit harder than brick. I was just curious if anyone in a rocky area has tried to use it. I am very jealous of the dirt you have there...must be nice to work with. Here we have ground that literally births rocks each year, even in a raised bed.
Cool I understand!
I know u were in a hard spot but you can push T post in the ground with your front end loader on the tractor.
I don't have a front end loader. If I did I would do that for sure. This little jem cost a lot less then getting a bucket for the tractor or a front end loader :)
@@PrattFamilyHomestead understand. Don't know why I thought you had one.
How much does one of those cost?
If I recall correctly .... it was like ... 250 on clearance? Maybe??
wau kerja yang baik good 👍👍👍👌😊
Terima kasih (hopefully Google got that right :) )
seems like maybe a bsttery powered one would be better than having a gas engine at head level.
I am perfectly happy with one. If I even have 1 T Post to put in, I grab this.
Your compareing a gas powered auger to using a sledge hammer for pounding post? I thought you would have at least used a t post pounder
LOL I'm guessing you just looked at the thumbnail and didn't watch? we Even the thumb doesn't look like an auger lol. Oh well. No. This is a gas powered post driver. And it rocks 😁
I'm sold..forget the hammer..
LOL YUP!!!! :)
You should have done a video about how you actually put up the electric fencing onto the posts. There isn't any good videos on that.
Thanks I may do one
I will stick to a hand driver
You are not short, you are as tall as you need to be.
Looks so easy a child can use it lol
I mean ..... if I can ...... :)
Jenny sure is Cute!
Oh no,I didnt ask to borrow it,I said Mike could bring it up and show me how it works before the snow flys😂🤪🤣.Well I guess I got Mike's answer, cause we sure did get the snow🥶.And it's still ❄. Yall stay warm down there👍😉
LOL! I saw you guys are getting some awesome powder! Love it!!
Would’ve been faster the old fashioned way
Maybe in the right soil. On one side of property is sand. You can pound a tpost in no problem. Here ... is rocks and awful ground. This made life a ton easier here. But also when you have alot to do ... this is a lot nicer.
SAAWEET
:)
Uhm, you're going through mud !! easy!!
Uhhm I don't recall that being mud. And I have use this many times, wet/dry doesn't matter. This beats the heck out of pounding T Posts. I am not getting any incentives for using this product. I simply will never pound another T Post.
I think he’s doing it wrong, he’s not pushing down at all. You have to push down.
In tougher soils maybe... but really the beauty is ... you don't have to ... hardly at all.
That's cheating.

HA HA I am fine with that! :)
