This part is the only redeeming part of the whole series. For me the grey is soo underwhelming compared to the anime.. so many plotholes.

This was so great. The writers did a great job in having a theme with the main character and adapting the original instead of just recreating it.
Agreed. It is a shame about the shaky-cam in most of the action scenes. I have to quit at episode 2 due to dizziness. Ended up went to watch anime instead.

Watched the anime a few times & got really excited they made a tv series. Was not disappointed on ending with the last episode 🤯

Show was so much better than the movie, at times the monsters extended out seemed a little cheesy like the CGI could be a little bit better but here’s to hoping we get more of the show, higher budget and more episodes!
Better in what way? I prefer the anime than the show. Heidi was too op. She can handle everything on her own. Where sinichi had to struggle alone(mentally) fighting a much powerful parasites

@@thecitizens4573 I think it's because Heidi lives in Suin's subconscious and they have to switch if Heidi wants to protect Suin (it's like they are co-exist as different personalities in one body), unlike Shinichi who can see Migi with his own eyes and has to accept with his consciousness that he has that parasite in his right hand.

If you are salty, that's its not the original. Get over it. I liked this version as much as the animated. I've seen the animated specifically 6 times, and I wouldn't want the live action to be the EXACT copy n paste. I like that this was different and I looked forward to the story line. Hitoshi Iwaaki is fine with it too, why is everyone else yapping!?
Exactly, the anime already get japanese live action that follow the exact story, people should be aware of it.
And thats why in this netflix one they have different protagonist, because its suppose to be a continuation not adaptation.

bro the ending with shinichi was INSANE. i really don’t feel like this shows needs a season 2 in my opinion. i think everything was wrapped up nicely. i think if they do make a “part 2” it should just be a live action movie of the original japanese manga with shinichi, showing his side of things in japan where it originated, y’know? that would be cool.
