    We' ve been to Namibia three years ago and we watched a honey badger. Our guide told us that these absolutely fearless animals also fight against lions. The honey badger, we have watched, was digging after animals living in the sand. There were around 40 °C and he was digging with an intensity which was realy impressive.

      @@y_ffordd; yea. I once worked with a guy who HATED snakes. He said, "There are only two kind of snakes, rattle snakes and cobras. If it rattles, it's a rattle snake. If it doesn't rattle, it's a cobra." But seriously, Pythons don't have any venom glands. An untreated Python bite can get infected, (the same as a human or dog bite), but there is no venom involved.

    Interesting footage. However you refer to the Python as a viper and this is inaccurate. The Python is not a venomous snake with hinged fangs, which would need to be the case to call it a viper.

    Honey Badgers make Myanmar Lethwei fighters look soft !! Taking on prey that could very well make the Honey Badger prey themselves. I have huge respect for Mustelids , having owned a feisty ferret & her 1/2 polecat daughter. Honey Badgers are more polecats on steroids than true badgers. Highly intelligent , as well as immensely strong for their size ....to match their fearlessness , determination and aggression.

      Not just tough. It has the advantage of havingloose skin that is very tough. So when something like a lion takes a bite, the honey badger is able to turn and attack while the lion has it in his mouth.

    Honey Badgers don't care. There was one in a small zoo near me that has been there since it was young. It growls and snaps at the caretakers while they pet it although it's just a big baby that won't hurt a thing and just acts like it will tear your head off. It was way too cute, a real lover.
