I agree. Also, you must have ingenue essence, these almost "childish" hairstyles look mainly just right on you and the stricter ponytail seems a little too boring for you.

many of these styles were not first done in the 2000s. we were doing this in the 70s and i'm sure they were done in the 60s as well. but this is a good refresher for us that may have forgotten it and are now wearing shorter hair.
Absolutely. We copied those 60s/70s looks in high school in the 90s, so not a 2000s thing (although they may have peaked again then...I didn't really notice lol)

Just gave myself a DIY haircut for the first time ever (thank you Brad Mondo & Manes by Mell) ✂️ I cut off about 8 inches & gave myself layers which really brought out the natural waves. It's shoulder light now & I love it!

I am sorry to say that i am absolutely not into sewing so I am really happy there is video again I really enjoy and not only click on to support and dont really watch. Maybe there is a chance to make sewing content, vlogs and tutorials in equals parts in the future?

Something I really like doing with shorter hair is side combs! One or two, especially on days when I slept on my hair weird and it's doing something I'm not willing to wear to work. The ones where the teeth touch (like GripTuth) hold even thin/fine hair really well! (I can headbang in them and they stay put)
I like to wear them sleek, or use them to create wonderful poofy volume, depending on how clean my hair is.
Also, with hair your length, two clips on either side is really nice too. I like the claw clips that are about 2cm wide
I, too, was there in the early 2000s using mini braids to grow out my fringe (with the double whammy mini space buns in the back to go with). I shall not return 🤣
Love all of them! When I had a bob/lov back in 2014/15 I used to tuck my side swept bangs section up in a french braid. That was basically the only look I had back then 🙈

I am someone who likes having long hair. But, I have a chronic illness and this year my hair has thinned out a lot. So, my long hair looks very straggly and yeah...😕 So, I’m contemplating cutting it off to be shoulder length. Your hair is so amazing looking!
Mine looks like sh*te too. Total rats tail look. It was starting to improve then I had to start new meds and it’s all started falling out again. Hate not having reasonable hair. Do you hate it or when someone does a small bit of hair from the front for the start of a style and it’s more than all your hair? ! Drives me mad.
You look so great with this length! I loved my long bob few years ago for a change. Didn't play with styles, just liked it to have it down after all those years of long hair and updos! I'm back to long. Doing often little braids at the front and love them! Also I love wearing natural feathers.

The tiny braids were a thing long before the 2000s. In the early 70s, I would put tiny braids in my waist length center parted hair and I would use my braces elastics to secure the ends.
I love all of these, but they are very youthful and I can't look "cute" and youthful at work :/ I work in schoolsand I'm already pretty young, so I need to differentiate myself from the teens for them (and their teachers) to take me seriously...

I have a question, if you still do hair tutorials? I am looking for an old fashioned Indonesian ’haarwrong’ (that is a Dutch word for it, I don’t know the English one, maybe it’s spelled vrong instead of wrong, not sure!) It is an elegant bun that sits very low near the neck. I would love to find out how to do that.
My hair's a couple inches shorter than yours rn, and as you surely know high ponies or anything on top of the head just defaults to a half-up-do instead 😅 i tried the "fake" high pony and i had better luck hiding the fake-ness by actually including each pony into the next one instead of leaving them separate, might be worth a try for you too 😊
I've only once done spacebuns, I love them but I feel like I have to be soo careful so it doesn't fall apart :'D

Hey Loepsie, I found a very challenging historical hairstyle. It's from an Iron Age grave. I would love it if you made a video about this. Mainly because I have no idea how to recreate this hairstyle. You can find the hairstyle in the last chapter of a free pdf called Lønne Hede - an Early Roman Iron Age burial site with well-preserved textiles.
In 15:08 you can do this hairstyle using a banana clip if you have a low volume
I think right now, with your shoulderlength "do", you look like a girl from the 60s, and the dress you last made kind of suits it really well! :)
I love the short hair! I have a question though, do you wear it in a protective hairstyle at night? When my hair was longer, i would always wear it in a twisted braid or a bun at night, but now I have short hair and those hairstyles are impossible to do.
Have you tried wrapping your had and hair in a silk scarf? I don't like the feeling of it on long hair but it keeps short hair nicely together at night and protects it
