    Australia is heading in the same direction as Denmark, unfortunately. You make some excellent points on several fronts, particularly regarding family and friends. By you being in Dubai, or wherever, it gives also them the opportunity to visit you in an exotic place. Please keep up your excellent series of informative videos. 👍

    Nailed it, Sir. Your putting your finger on the problems we have in many European high-tax countries.

    Here in argentina be a successful person is also a problem. Envy generates violence. Thanks for your video, good luck in Dubai

    On that part i feel you. I use to live in Netherlands and during my university years i got attacked by my teacher for wanting to different things. I was the first one to have internship done in the USA. And the weather is grey, it makes me brain dead. I have noticed how lively people's lives are since I moved outside of Netherlands.personaly Netherlands and northern Europe isn't for me but it's beautiful amazing country ❤❤❤❤❤❤

      Nothing wrong with being solar powered 😄 - I remember I was asked in a job interview what motivates you to get up in the morning. I thought about it for a while, then I said "The Sun" - needless to say I didn't get the job 😅 - Next destination...Dubai!

    I said the same when I was younger. I think your view changes again when you grow older and you'll appreciate other things and perhaps get to miss your home country.

      Good insight. Maybe it will. I'm open to that possibility - i just don't see the logic 😊

      As long as you are OK with not building up longlasting relationships you will be fine. But the problem with Dubai is that the most of the people come just for couple of years of stay for making money. So it is likely that you will end up losing most of your friends in next 5 years or so. The other drawback is that people are a bit materialistic and shallow, so are the relationships, be it romantic or friendship...

    • @rasmusgutfelt
      @rasmusgutfelt  Před rokem +2

      Yes absolutely. Finding long lasting friendships in Dubai is tough as everyone moves at some point. Good point!

    Would you consider buying apartment/villa or staying on rent forever? & where you will consider moving in your retirement days?

    • @rasmusgutfelt
      @rasmusgutfelt  Před rokem

      Would maybe consider down the line to buy. But i don’t see much value in owning where you live. Not sure where i would settle when i retire, i got 45 more years or something to reach that age - who knows what the world looks like at that point 😅

    Yes friends and family but many don't want challenges. They want comfort. I live now in Japan. I will say 80% of the foreigners living here are married especially man. So that means their partner arranged. everything for them. Very few wants to do them by themselves.

    I love your video and yes I also think the same, you should move in the world try to make a life of yourself not be part of the sheep herd that they want you to be the same like them.
