I can say from my perspective that is the most honest humble Kyle Buch I have seen publicly in years (I’m not a Kyle fan by any stretch!) but it was good to hear that answer from him. He showed a great deal of maturity on his part.

Sorry Kenny - The Racing Way posted the same interview and their headline was Kyle Confirms he's leaving Gibbs. I think I got on your site by mistake because these other people posted the same picture of Kyle's interview. Your headline is spot on. There's a real problem on CZcams where the headline has nothing to do with the actual story - just an attempt by some of these yahoos to get people to watch their video. You are not one of them!

@@mrj3217 totally agree….I keep hearing them say they are waiting for the right sponsor for KB but losing M&M is like losing his identity and they have been sponsoring nascar for years. Joe knows that there may not be as big of a sponsor out there willing to invest in KB now. And honestly, I think Joe is tired of working with him. Just my opinion but this loss of sponsor I feel was Joes way of saying…I can finally move on without him. He's kinda like a wrestler on WWE, people either love him or hate him at the track. Not comparing talents but in a different time the love/hate driver was the man in black Dale Sr, Who also could do amazing things in a race car! Kyle has definitely shown a side of himself recently that most of us hadn't seen. I wish him the best and agree he will land somewhere and still do great things in a stock car.

Maybe he said it, and I didn't catch it, but there are also other people, and their families, that work for him that depend on him in the truck series. It is NOT just the building. I get the feeling that weighs heavy as well. NOBODY wants to go back and say hey, I have to close the team up and your out of a job. I know that seems silly, because I think he will land somewhere, but I am not in those shoes.

Kyle and Coach should put out a press release thanking each other, try to get the most out of what’s left and move on. It certainly doesn’t sound like he’s going back to JGR. I feel like his current team would run better if they just put it out there and clear the air. And he’ll have more leverage with potential offers if he’s running well (For Kyle Busch standards of running well, that is!)

never been a huge fan of his strictly due to the way he often speaks to his crew on the radio, but he absolutely is in the top five as far as talent. If he spent more time doing interviews with the class and patience he showed here, he might not be searching for a sponsor right now......

The situation in WASCAR is simple, a lot like MLB & the Yankees..JGR payrolls are too high, and they are prepared to let a Veteran Starter go free agree/no offer and take on an up and coming replacement.
FOLLOW THE MONEY GUYS! It’s an economic thing, not wins. Please stop the silly chattering, KB is too expensive and the new WASCAR fan base like GEN-Z drivers. WASCAR likes them because they are cheap. Nuff Said.

The line "big change coming" referring to him and his family adapting only adds fuel that he's not coming back to JGR.

I just find it so damn crazy that a generational talent like this is in this predicament. Nascar is no longer about the best drivers. It's about who has the best funding.

lol That changed back in 2005. It has been about money and theater ever since. I could add in orchestrated events, crashes and trumped up charges but it wouldn't mean much as the results are still the same under any Governing body that controls Billions in revenue for profit.

As much as you want to say good or bad about Kyle Busch. What about coach Gibbs. It seems in the last 10 years the talent of drivers he's had, he has not looked after them. There all gone to other teams and now Kyle will be next. Thanks Mr Gibbs for letting Kyle win over 50 races for you.

Honestly Herm, this is a similar situation his big brother endured except Kyle is not being released in the middle of his lucrative contract but has met the full extent of the document. This is the beginning of the humbling stage of Kyle Busch Nascar Cup Series career. Chances being as slim as my right leg growing back since I'm an amputee, Kyle will not be racing in competitive equipment for the first time EVER in his Cup career and this will humble the wildest/feral of the grid to the point he will begin to doubt that his skills have evaporated away but eventually he will refine his passion for racing, appreciating the small to big stuff more as he watches the light at the end of the tunnel get brighter until he's only racing in the Truck Series part time with Brexton until Brex reaches the ripe age to race full-time.

I’ve been a KB fan since the beginning. He’s shown so much maturity through this whole situation. I hope nothing but the best for him for 2023 and beyond!
