Takedown in the last minute of each round negates all damage done. No damage necessary from the top, nor any submission attempts. Just a takedown to secure the round. Pantoja got his ass beat in rounds 2, 3, 4.

You are right. Cuts are not everything. Pantoja has two cuts in places that bleed very easily. These guys have obviously not seen Steve’s interviews after the fight, he has marks on his face too and knows he lost. But Steve was good, he will be back and is problem for this division if he keeps making weight.
