- Anyone can make this nano tank. It’s low budget and doesn’t require much maintenance.
The fish inside are very active and a good choice for a nano aquarium and they are.
If you have any questions, let’s meet in the comments.
Thanks for watching!

Absolutely love it.
I am totally new to aquariums and your channel is one of the many where I gather information while I prepare for my own project. You're previous big tank inspired me to to the same and I ordered a custom 60 gallon tank for my living room.
Since the waiting time was 6 to 8 weeks I decided to buy a 5 gallon aquarium to put on my windowsill and start that up while I wait for the big one. Under the motto: "One needs to learn how to walk before one runs"
Your soothing voice and tranquil music is an added extra bonus 🤣
Thank you so much! I hope your tanks will be perfect! Good luck. ☘️🫶🏻
Iýiki TÜRKÇE ALT YAZI Koymuşsunuz sizi anlayıp aboneniz oldum .Dünyada yaklaşık 200 milyon TÜRKÇE konuşan var.Teşekkür ederim .Çok güzrel bilgiler gösterdiniz .
Ben çok teşekkür ederim güzel yorumunuz için. Her videoda artık Türkçe altyazı olacak. 🙏🏻🌱
I've been enjoying your videos today. I see this is a 3.5 gallon tank. Question for you. If you go to the fish store and ask for 10 rasboras and they ask "for what size tank?" do you get judgemental eyes? If so, what do you tell them? I'm not judging at all because clearly your builds are stable and happy and with lots of the right kind of plants and tiny fish & shrimp, the bioload is less impactful but do you ever encounter snooty fish shop people who try to talk you out of of it? If so, what do you say?
I haven't encountered such a topic. However, I would explain to them how the tank is set up. This is entirely about the environment we create for the living beings. I could set up such a bad aquarium that even if it were 1,000 gallons, it could be deadly for these tiny fish.
Love the tank setup. Great video
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
Because of your videos I decided to put garden soil in my tank, otherwise nobody actually referred it to me when I asked them about using the normal soil
Perfect!
I have dirted tank from 5 months plants growing very healthy and i have to cut plants every week 😂
👍👍
Watch father fish !
I've used compost mixed with soil in mine. As long as you know it's chemical free, you should be good. Sometimes it can lead to a nutrient spike, but only during the set up and you usually don't have animals in those first weeks anyway. If you do have animals, just do daily water checks changes as needed to help keep things balanced.
*ohhhhhh man....Your Explain level It's Just Awesome....Love From INDIA ❤*
Thank you so much! Greetings from Turkey!

how do you know that stones found in nature wont leech stuff into the aquarium water? i also want to use stones from my backyard but i am not sure how to pick the safe ones.
What i miss on your channel (and almost all youtubers with very good content), is a video for real beginners with a small budget. I know you have some budget video's but then you have always some wood, or stone or plants from other projects that you use in that scape. (and looking online at prices for wood, stone, snails, shrimps, fish and plants that can add up quickly).
What i need as a beginner is a video where in someone has a tank + light and a budget (lets say € 300), then make a plan for the scape and plants and take that plan and budget to a aquarium store and show people what the best buys are for that budget and in what cases it is totaly up to their preference.
That doesn't mean that i don't like your content at the moment, but for a starting scaper i can not use a € 2000 budget and make something, for starters i don't have that money laying around, but also as a starter you can make mistakes and even don't like the hobby at all, so then all money is lost.
I hope you can help me with this.
I think i need a rescape lol
Lol good luck!
PSA on putting garden soil in your tank... It can off gas and your fish may not survive...
If you don’t disturb the soil there won’t be problem.
@@peaceofnaturee we are going to have to agree to disagree on that one. In my experience I didn't disturb the soil.and it still off gassed. Ive noticed a lot of fishkeeping CZcams channels not explain this is something that can happen. Which is information that a beginner would find helpful.
اخي هل يمكن أن اتواصل معك عن طريق برنامج لقد فعلت كل ماتعلمته منك لكن لقد مات لدي أسماك كانت بصحه جيده لا أعلم لماذا
Everything is ok, but, the shrimps does nit like it, every species I put, it dies... In other tanks they thrive...
Do you think it’s because of dirt?
@@peaceofnaturee yes, dirt from the substrate, I do weekly water change, I do like father fish system, but unfortunately, my shrimps does not... Will try more, new tanks on the run, now I do a 100 liter one, without mud, only high tech, to augment red plants... It's quite a show when something like this is hapening... Thank you for all the videos, by the way, what hapened with the jar with one shrimp female? I plan to do one me too soon
@@peaceofnaturee anyway, thank you for all the informations, it is a delight to watch your videos!!
مع العلم اني رجل عربي من العراق ولكن اريد تجربة ذلك قبل أن انشر طريقتك في العراق
I just got my first tank after watching you videos. I put soil gravel and its been an 3 hour i just want to push fish in it
Ya 4 types plants hn
Hydrilla 5 stems
Limnophila 2 stems
Duckweed big bowl
Pearl weed 8 to 9 stems
Can you please guid me should i change water in a day or how much.
You should wait for a few weeks before put fish in it. If everything is okay with your aquarium you don’t have ti change water.
