ooh yeah, I'm also a math book fanatic ! You have a great collection !
Thanks! More to come, lol.
Not sure why book videos are so entertaining. I’ve purchased so many math books but I’ve only read maybe 20% of them cover to cover. A lot of them are far too advanced to read but it’s sort of like buying a set of weights to get in shape and then never touching them.
haha i feel you, are you studying mathematics? in uni or?
I also have a large collection of math books, and read 0% from cover to cover ))
@@MonkeyDLuffy-gd6se I’m studying electrical engineering at a community college but I want to transfer to university to study math. Im taking calc 3
Have been watching you channel for a while now. And yes I love the book series videos. They motivate me.
So please keep doing them and shelfies are a good way to go.
I own a great many of the books you reviewed --- I fully agree with your comments! I also have books which I shall likely never read. Thank you!! I look forward to viewing other videos you have produced. Thank you!
The Way of Analysis is an Amazing book. Reading through it is like sitting in a really good lecture on Real Analysis. It illustrates and explains things well. Some people think it is too verbose and prefer baby Rudin, which is down to business,
Thanks. I would like to look forward to 'The Radical Approach to Real Analysis' and 'Calculus Reordered'.
The Great Courses has a series of lectures on the History of Mathematics given by Bressoud. I’m rewatching them again!
Neat! I haven't seen that.
The Spivak one is my dream book.
Great collection!!
amazing collection . enjoy math :)
Welcome back!
Truly enviable collection...2 more suggestions...calculus by daniel vellemann & how and why of one variable calculus by amol sasane.
This was a very nice video, thanks a lot. I'm currently trying to learn the basics of topology before relearning calculus and/or learning math analysis, so I'll be coming back to this video to check those book recs in a few months (hopefully 😅). See you around!
Thanks for watching! Good luck in your studies.
Folland is great its probably the best
You have some gems Multivariate Mathematics is really expensive and I looked for Lang's Calculus of several variables and couldn;t find any copies. Spivak isn't cheap either.
I didn't realize how much the price of Multivariable Mathematics has increased! It was around $50 new when I bought it. While it's a great book, I certainly can't recommend picking it up for the going price now. It's really shameful how expensive math and science books have become. Edit: It does look like the paperback version is a lot cheaper at least. I would recommend that option if you really want the book. Charging $250 for the hardcover is outrageous IMHO.
@@learningasahobby790 I didn't realise there was a soft cover. Thanks. The price of some of these books is pretty nuts. Hubbard and hubbart is another one that's hard to find cheap.
You should take a look at Vladimir Zorichs Mathematical Analysis :)
Do you mind explaining a little what you like about it? This way other people can decide if it makes sense for them. Thanks for the recommendation.
Woow nice books..
Is it possible to increase the quality of video ? )
I started the Patreon channel and will continue to put Amazon Affiliate links to fund some better equipment. So hopefully the quality will improve over time.
A nice collection. I wish I would have seen this before I started teaching undergrad real analysis. Cheerful Calculations 🧮.
Great collection!!
Woow nice books..
