Like in general, the others who were murdered died with their honour in tact, for the most part. But Wei Ying, they completely destroyed him, and worse, they made him think it truly was his fault and that he really was responsible for all the pain and death THEY caused.
Even at the battle at Nevernight, everyone (except the Jiang Clan) is fighting the darkness, but no one is dying -- even then, he was holding himself back and just defending himself. It was only with the sound of other flute that the darkness became lethal and the cultivators were turned into puppets.
And they let Wei Ying believe he was responsible, they made him to become pretty much the devil in the world's eyes. They've wronged so many people, but the way they wronged Wei Ying is one of the worst, if not the worst way to have been wronged.
Like it's one thing to torture and kill someone, it's another to pin those crimes on a random scapegoat in such a way that they believe they are somehow responsible -- like to a good person, their conscience will destroy them from the inside out, even though they're innocent. Then trying to prove your innocence to a world who's already made up its mind that you are a heartless monster?
I seriously believe that is one of the most fucked up things you can do to a person, taking their integrity. Damn.
@@sassylittleprophet Damn true and scary. He was rotten to the core. He did that to Wei Ying just because he needed a scapegoat and was jealous of him. His plan was a long term thing, he fooled almost everyone with his fake kindness, except Nie MingJue (guy died because of that -_-). This reveal made me feel bad for everyone who died and suffered because of Meng Yao. The shock and heartache on everyone's face was sad. Lan XiChen could not believe his sworn brother was a total madman and criminal, Jiang Cheng realised he hated Wei Ying for nothing, Wei Ying that he was framed and lost everything except Lan Zhan's love, Lan Zhan that the love of his life had everything taken from him, JinLing that his parents died for really no reason and that he also hated Wei Ying for nothing, and that his uncle is a total psycho and criminal. Oh, and Nie Huaisang probably was only shocked at how many things JGY did except killing MingJue.
Oh, sweetheart. Wei Ying. I just want to bundle him up and feed him cookies. He deserved so much more. And that laugh... just like the one he had in Nevernight. LW, JC, LX, SS, and JGY are having flashbacks. And JGY's speech is a good parallel to Wen Qing's final words to Wei Ying about why he'll never live a peaceful life
They all need to learn when he starts sarcastically laughing , RUN! Lol
That's why he stood out chivalrous and untamed. Wei Ying could of had it all but everyone just attacked from all areas of his life with no looking back 😔
They destroyed his whole life and his reputation, even after his death. One of the many reasons why Lan Zhan spares no moment to be Wei Ying's everything: protector, healer, supporter, lover and then husband. If anything, tragedy made LZ and WY's love and bond stronger and stronger.

I can imagine LZ's inner monolgue being something like this: so you destroyed the life and then killed the man i love so much because you wanted a scapegoat and wanted to keep your riches and power? Besides LZ's pain and regrets, we also have XC understanding how this whole thing is a whole monument of madness, betrayal and hunger for power; that LZ knew WY wasn't capable of mass killing for pleasure and as such tried everything to save WY. Jin Ling's whole life was a lie, just like JC, he hated WY and WN for nothing.

Haha, makes sense. But Wei Ying was oblivious so damn long. It took them being hostages to finally tell Lan Zhan that he loves him. Imagine being Lan Zhan: you love Wei Ying since a long a** time, and all you get is teasing and pain. XiChen saw all of Lan Zhan's pain, and had enough of Wei Ying's fooling around (even if XiChen was the one who supported them the most).

Su She is the only character I hate with a passion. JGY I hate him for what he did but he had his reasons. JGS I also hate him, he’s a slimy bastard with no redeeming qualities, but he had charisma to drive the story. Su She is just… he’s plain trash, that’s what he is. And I love that the entire fandom wholeheartedly hates him, without giving him any thought of redemption at all. Like… we just hate him. I rank JGS as my 1st most hated character, that general that bullied JGY as 2nd and Jin Zixun as 3rd. Su She isn’t even worth putting on any ranks-that’s how much I hate him.
And I get if! He’s made to be hated. He’s petty and arrogant, and has an inferiority complex. That’s his personality. But there are villains you hate but still love to see in the show-Su She? I don’t even wanna look at the screen when he’s there, unless it’s the scene where he gets impaled by Baxia😌😌😌

Oh yes, his brotherly love blinded him. Oh, and the reaction on JC's side when he hears all this and realises his years of hatred for WY had no base. And i also can't imagine how JL felt knowing his own paternal uncle is responsible for the deaths of his parents. And then we have LZ who was worried about WY's use of demonic magic, tried to save him on several occasions, saw him falling off the cliff, got permanent scars because he once again tried to save him, only to find out that WY was set up from early on. Poor LZ must have thought something like: really man? so many suffered and died because you're one piece of dirt criminal and psycho mastermind?

The Hundred holes thing is so creepy to me, I don’t have trypophobia but it’s the fact on someone’s body. Same thing with blood I’m not scared of blood but if someone has a huge gash I’m afraid to look seeing inside of someone’s body like that is creepy to me.
Awhile ago some “fan” on Twitter posted “fan art” I don’t know if you call it fan art but it was Tang San with the same holes on his face but the holes were colored in black and had dark black eyes. I don’t know why someone would do that but I blocked the person I didn’t look even dare to look at anything else, I looked at the picture for a second and was immediately triggered
I don't have trypophobia either unless the holes have eyes or something in them. But it still is unsettling when you see a ton of holes on a person's body. That's just human instinct screaming something is dangerous/wrong.
That curse is one hella messed up thing. And the fact that Su She was so eager to cast it on someone else is even more f...d up. This guy and Jin JiXun are on my list of characters you can only hate and have no real reason to be pieces of dirt.

Who? Su Shi was jealous of Lan Zhan and always tried to copy him but never could measure up to him. He lacks the talent and ethics but instead of accepting his own shortcoming and working harder to improve he blames Lan Zhan and every one else. As for the JGY he merely used Wei for his own purpose. He had nothing personal against Wei, but that didn't matter.
JGY was mistreated and ignored by his father despite his talents and smarts. JGY's mom was ambitious and had gotten pregnant and kept the baby in hope that Jin being big clan would help her out. But, his father had no interest in his son from a prostitute and thought she was asking too much for such casual sex. He was a promiscuous man in general and there were many such illegitimate kids around. JGY should have walked away from his jin identity of any sort, but didn't. That's what Wei might have done in his place. JGY however was more like his parents. Manipulative, ambitious and sefish and for his goals he would use anyone.
JGY hated his father, but then he became greedy and did anything he could to be in a position of power. Su She is just a small piece of dirt and envious snake, not capable of doing good with his own skills, so he tried to copy others and is also very arrogant. When he said LZ whan arrongant i almost spat on my screen, LZ's usual face is emotionless or very self controlled.
