I thought I was the only one who thought Ayehon put a little too much force when singing high note. 😅 Rami is god-level at voice control indeed, the transition at 3:37-3:39 isn't an easy thing to do even among professional singers.
I think I can understand why people say Ahyeon is trying to outshine the other members, but that's not the case here. She's just a bit inconsistent when controlling the power of her voice to match with the other members, as we can see the others used a softer tone to match the vibe of the song while Ahyeon was singing a pitch louder when it wasn't necessary. Her voice is beautiful and she's really talented as well, once she gain experience performing with her members on stage I'm sure she can improve her voice control. Still a beautiful stage from them though 😊❤
Yes she has a loud live singing voice. I hope they will train her more on how to control her voice or she can be train how to handle the mic when to put it a little farther away from her mouth when she's belting. She's not aware of it. I hope she can watch their recorded performances so she can adjust and improve as a part of a group.
Yes. For me, I see her as the Jean Grey of the group. They all know how powerful her vocals. She'll be one of the best vocalist in her generation once she learns how to control her powerful voice.
Before the performance, they rehearsed a lot, anyway. If she sings like that on stage, that means she sang like that at rehearsals. Since they didn’t say anything to her about this, and she continues to sing like that, then that’s how it should be. So it doesn't mean she can't control her voice. You just don't understand that it has to be this way.
My opinion on their first mini-concert: Rami- Best vocalist and vocals from Babymonster hands down. Her voice is so strong, powerful, and when she does those high notes, oh my gosh! And she’s only what like 16/17! Holy cow! She blows some of the current kpop female vocalist. I don’t care if she is the least favorite but she is definitely my bias when it comes to singing. Her dancing and performance has also been improving. Definitely not bad in dance in my opinion. But watch out to all my kpop vocal and ballad queens because Rami is coming to get you! Chiquita- She really really impressed me with her live vocals! I was like “😮!”. Very stable, soft, vulnerable, she definitely taps into the emotion of the song. She’s is literally their secret card in Babymonster. She has such charisma, a beautiful and cute personality, and even in her dancing, she’s really good..and she’s only 15! I heard she doesn’t rap bad either! We will see. We need to watch out for this one! She has that star power and if at this age she’s already good, I can’t wait for her to develop and grow as a performer, vocalist and dancer. She is definitely gonna go places while in the group and solo 😍😍. Just mesmerizing Ahyeon- Ahyeon is our most charismatic, popular, and she just has that star power. But uffff..she is the one that really needs to work on her vocal live. She very unstable and pitchy, and for ballad songs, she needs to learn how to be more soft, vulnerable but powerful like Rami. Plus she was not in harmony with the others. You can tell her time away put her behind. She needs to build her confidence singing their older songs. But I won’t be too critical cuz other than Sheesh, she has never performed SITM or batter up live. Definitely a tad more stable with their more upbeat songs. Dancing, stage presence and performance she nails it everytime. Love her and she just needs to improve and really work hard to get back up to the level we know she can be. She definitely reminds me of younger Jennie and just her swag too. Not saying that in bad way. I am so glad she came back because it definitely is better with all 7. She brought that missing piece that they needed back ❤🫶 Rora- In SITM her voice is so gorgeous. Very good live. Such a higher tone and soft.She has definitely improved more on her live performances, like dancing and stage presence. On their more upbeat songs, I need her to be more confident. She is definitely the one that is not utilized the most out of the group and I really want to see more of her. I think she shone the most in SITM and her visuals are insane. But YG needs to give her more of the spotlight. Pharita- Ugh, she is the visual queen of babymonster. A real life Thai princess. Gorgeous gurl. With her..she needs to be more confident in her singing when it’s live. I love her clear, and delicate voice and gurl can belt those high notes like Ahyeon and Rami. She definitely has a distinct tone. In the dancing…she’s definitely the weakest of the 7. But ballads and belting are her forte. Idk why, but she just reminds me so so much of a young Park Bom from 2ne1. Classy, elegant, sweet and cute personality and always smiling. But keep on working on your performance and vocals. But she will definitely be another kpop ballad vocal queen ❤️❤️❤️ Ruka- This lady, she can dance her ass off! And her energy! She definitely needs to be more of the member that hypes up the crowd. I just love her confidence and stage presence. Her rapping is very upfront and in your face, reminds me of a young CL. Definitely the best dancer of babymonster. Just need to shout a little less but she was so excited to be back home and performing for her mom ❤️❤️❤️ Asa- My other bias. Love love love her rapping and her flow. Idk how to describe it but definitely the best rapper of the group. Her rap flow is just very unique and in batter up and sheesh, oh my gosh she just comes in and lets these Ho’s know she is in the house! Plus I love that she writes her bars and raps and they need to let her include it more in their songs. But definitely thr next kpop rap queen…plus she is also a very good dancer! It’s like the finally got the element from 2ne1 and Blackpink into these 7 ladies. I really loved them from the start and I feel with the right marketing and promotion, they can definitely become bigger than BP..and honestly..this may not be a popular opinion…but I love them more than blackpink..but 2ne1 are my OG kpop girl group queens and they remind me so much of 2ne1.
