    This is why Garrett is the best edge in the nfl, it’s malpractice to not at least double him. The browns defense turned around this sesson because they finally have some linemen who can win one on ones and Zadarius who can at times beat a double

    THE FASTEST RECORDED SACK SO FAR THIS YEAR! Yes, Tannehill could've stepped up, but to rush to hate on him instead of acknowledging how quickly Dillard got busted AGAIN is insane.

      I just don't understand not using 2 TE sets basically all game. It wasn't that long ago that we were doing it with relative success and even just chipping the DE's gets them off their rush position and gives more time to Tannehill.

      @poppajules did you see when they tried to follow him in the 4th. Got a delay of game.

      1v1 on Myles is just a schematic error. Idk much about Dillard but Myles does everyone in 1v1 like this

    After seeing this breakdown, which I appreciate, I see that Tannehill didn't do Dillard any favors by escaping a clear pocket to the left. The side Garrett was on. He never really steps up in the pocket. And when he escapes the pocket (which is rare) he does it with cement shoes in the wrong direction.

    • @JC-bp5dw
      @JC-bp5dw Před 10 měsíci +1

      you expect him to take off running immediately after getting the snap? Because Tannehill couldn't even get to the top of his drop, even on short passes, before Dillard got whooped. I'm not sure how you watch this breakdown and see it as Tanny's issue that Dillard can't sustain a block much better than a tackling dummy. At some point, an O-lineman just has to be able to block.

    • @matthewjohnson9413
      @matthewjohnson9413 Před 10 měsíci

      @JC-bp5dw Obviously. The line needs to block. But Tannehill doesn't step up into the pocket. Quarterbacks are supposed to step up into the pocket. It is QB 101. Tannehill is a below average QB that is passed his prime. His only athletic move is when he scores a TD and pretends to do a lay-up. And that happens once a season.

      Step up into the pocket what pocket dude lol there is no pocket it’s collapsing instantly. Dillard is sucking. Tannehill has nothing to do with it. How you even watched the game and then this breakdown and that’s your take away I’ll never know.

      @@JC-bp5dwI’m sorry dude but only an elite left tackle can remotely slow down Garrett. They need help and even then….

    *It helps that Ryan Tannehill has some of the worst pocket awareness and movement/footwork I've seen from any starting QB in the NFL.* Comparing his movement and awareness in the pocket to Deshaun Watson is like night and day. You should do a video comparing them. There were so many plays where Watson should have been dead to rights and the Titans should have gotten a sack or at least forced incomplete pass. But instead, Watson was able to somehow avoid being sacked and turn the play into either a 1st down conversion or a big yardage gain. There were at least 4-5 plays where if you put Tannehill in the same position it would have been a guaranteed sack.
    Obviously Garrett is a beast, but that OL trying to block him was just completely outmatched. I also don't get why he waits so long to engage Garrett every time. He lets Garrett accelerate and tries to block him standing still and flatfooted. The physics just straight up don't work.

  • @bridgelaurie9490
    @bridgelaurie9490 Před 10 měsíci +2

    Tannehill could step up lol he wasn’t even done dropping back when Garrett got him lol he literally got to the back foot of his last drop and got hit. Blindsided at that. He probably never even knew it was coming it was so fast.

    I haven't laughed so hard at a play as when those two tight ends followed him back and forth in forever.

    On live watch I wasn’t gonna blame Tannehill for much, but he really isn’t using the space in the pocket very well. He appears to drift ever so slightly left on a few of his drop backs, leaving Dillard even less space to work with. Garrett can tea off every time. Dillard was struggling and Tannehill has to step up into the gaps. Also the coaching decisions have to be questioned. Particularly the last low-light shown here.

      What game did you watch?

    • @neilh6798
      @neilh6798 Před 10 měsíci

      Not sure your point. This game was lost both sides of the ball. The O-line was dire, no matter what Tannehill did this was a loss. However, my point was that he isn't helping. He appears to have lost a step in the pocket, isn't feeling it at this point.

    • @neilh6798
      @neilh6798 Před 10 měsíci

      Also. Its only a couple of time that he isn't stepping up. Reminded me of the Saints game. But with everyone junk this time.

    Titans seemed to not want to give miles garrett the respect and attention her deserves. Thankfully im sure vrable had a similar breakdown of the tape and we should ready for the browns if there is a rematch this season.

    Everyone told me that Tannehill just sucked when it was clear Dillard hit him mid throwing motion. It’s surprising how little people know about what they are watching and still talk like they do.

  • @poppajules
    @poppajules Před 10 měsíci

    This is a clear failure from the OC and Tannehill not motioning people around his formation. It's frustrating that the line is injured already and hamstrung by NPF being out over gambling, too. Hopefully we can limp through this week and get everyone back for Week 5 to try to start making a push.

    GARRETT SUCKS....
    WOW... He had a good game against "Duncan" the 186th pick in the draft.
    Also, Duncan is in his 2nd year and is being replaced. "Its easy to beat the weak links"
